Had another lovely day at The Legacy. Booked a hot deal, and a short while later got a call (and a text) from the pro shop letting me know the greens had been aerated earlier in the week. I was itching to play and the fact that they went out of their way to let me know, I decided to make the trip anyway. As I expected the grounds crew had done a wonderful job of top dressing the greens and all but two putts were smooth all day. Anyone not wishing to blame their game on someone else would agree. The tees and fairways are still dormant, which is completely normal this time of year. There were some really tight lies but you could also putt from just about anywhere around the green because of the dormant grass. First time playing here not in the height of golf season and I was pleasantly surprised. I'll have no fear of being disappointed at any time of year. Highly recommended!

This course is short (especially if you hit it 250+), but it was fun sending it into tight spots. Course was in great shape and pace of play was good, especially considering it was a holiday. 17 is a real stand out, beautiful long par 3.

Good quality course that will challenge a variety of players. Tees are a little fluffy for my taste, fairways a good, greens were punched a week ago so they’ll be good to go in about a week. Even with aerated greens they weren’t terribly bumpy. Not sure I would pay the normal rate to play it, but hot deal price was well worth it.

This is one of the best in Florida bar none. Caught a hot deal for $36, but would gladly have paid twice that. Nobody on the course surprisingly, played in just under 3 hours while taking our time. Wonderful layout with 5 sets of tees. If you can’t be happy here, it’s your own fault. Can’t wait to play it again.

Teed off mid-morning, nothing but foursomes in front of us. 5 sets of tees, so there’s something everybody. Choose wisely. Don’t be like the guys in front of us who played the back tees and couldn’t hit it 100 yards. While it was hilarious, we were thankful they quit after 9 holes. While you can play a draw around here, it you fade it, you’re going to love it. Greens are in good shape for the most part, one or two spots are recovering, but I’d say 9/10. Pins are put in good spots to avoid. Oddly lots of elevation change which is much appreciated in Florida. All in all a great day. Would give conditions 5-stars, but the few greens still coming and few bunkers in need of some work. Will definitely be back!!
