The course is in need of care. Many issues make it difficult to want to return. Was my favorite layout.
It seems to be a financial issue and I sincerely hope that it can be overcome. Best wishes to everyone.

Course was in good shape and even though the fairways needed some grass to grow, I understand the spring transition soon to com which should fill in the sparse areas soon. Overall, the course was good and fun.
One negative was over crowded course. We were a foursome who played the course fairly quickly, even after allowing a threesome through early in the round. We kept up with them throughout our round but were pressed by two threesomes behind us. I think there was not enough starting time between the groups. Just my opinion. Thanks

I am sure that the condition of the course is due to the pandemic along with very dry winter. But, to charge this much for a course with maybe 5 temporary greens and the normal greens full of weeds, this is overcharging. Also, the temp greens should be noted on Golfnow.

Love this layout. Challenging and fair. Wind was 14-20 knots, so today was extra hard. Greens look bad and are very thin, but they were fast and putted well.
Summer will see this course get better for sure. Food service was excellent.
Worth the drive. I have played here many times.
Thank you for your great review! You are correct in identifying the greens and fairways being a little thin as we near the end of the busy winter season. However, the crew has been working extremely hard to have everything in place for some major growth to take off when temperatures arrive. We're also dredging the lakes to make sure they are cleaned up and beautiful!

Love the practice facility, course conditions and layout. Restaurant is one of the best at a golf club in the central Florida area. Great staff.
LPGA International - Hills Course

My friend and I joined up with a nice couple from New York who were vacationing in St. Augustine for a week. A 10 AM tee time provided us with cooler temperatures on a beautiful, partly cloudy day.
The Hill course covers acres of typical Florida beauty, with wide fairways, very fast greens, long carries over marshland, well placed bunkers and plenty of flora and fauna to top it off. The course was in perfect shape and the most difficult issue was the normal thick, burly Bermuda rough that required some skill and thoughtfulness if you were unlucky enough to be in it.
If you are a capable golfer ( and you know what I mean), you will truly enjoy the challenge of the Hill course. Have fun. We did.
