Great shape. Excellent walking course. Wish Orlando had more like this one.

Greens are lightning fast. Fairways and tees in great shape. Pace unrushed. Love playing here. Just wish it was closer, but it's worth the drive.
Kissimmee Bay Country Club
Played On 10/28/2022Pleasantly surprised
Course was in great shape. Greens were smooth, true, and on the quick side. Pace of play was exceptional for a Friday with perfect weather. Staff was very friendly. Layout was interesting and challenging. All good reasons to play here, which I will do again soon.
On the down side, some of the oaks that line the fairways could be cut back a bit to open up the doglegs. The bunkers need resanding. The cart we had was sluggish, and the range is a big pond with old, wornout range balls. No beverage cart, but no biggie. All these are minor gripes I'm willing to overlook.
Glad I gave it a try.
Wedgefield Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/21/2022Like night and day
Played here a few years ago and the course needed a lot of work. That work has paid off. The course is now in fabulous shape. I will be playing here often.
Fairways Country Club
Played On 09/12/2022Hidden gem
I've been playing here during the week regularly since July. I have walked it a couple times. Course is well maintained. Greens are fair. Tee boxes better than average. Bunkers are better than average. Most fairways drain well and have good turf. A real bargain.
North Shore Golf Course
Played On 08/05/2022Showing signs of wear
North Shore is my home course. Been playing here since it opened. Some greens are getting patchy, along with some of the rough along the fairways.
Overall, one of the nicer courses in Orlando. Hopefully the signs of wear are not indicating further decline. Just needs a bit more attention to detail to make it worth the green fees, which I feel are on the high side.
Fairways Country Club
Played On 07/08/2022Great course for walking
First time playing here. Tees and greens are in great shape. Most fairways are very good, some are patchy. I'll play here regularly.
Celebration Golf Club
Played On 06/03/2022Almost there
Second time playing here. So much upside! Plenty of staff. Most very courteous. A few aloof, but everyone has their days. Course wise, beautiful fairways and fast greens. The tee boxes were mostly sand on the gold tees but for the amount of playing that goes on here, I suppose that is to be expected. Pace was good in the afternoon. Teed off at 2, finished the front in 2 hours, the back played half an hour slower.
I'll be back.
Winter Park Golf Course
Played On 12/17/2019WP9 is what every golf course should aspire to
I love to walk while I play golf. I wish all courses were like this. The layout doesn't demand much, but the greens will keep the player honest. Tee to green is always in perfect shape. The staff is always friendly. I'm usually paired up with a stranger and I haven't been disappointed.
There's not much in terms of food or beverage, but who cares. Go for a great walk in a great neighborhood and play golf while you're at it. Meet someone new and have some fun. WP9 is the best course in Orlando.
Period.

You get what you pay for. Keep it in the fairway or you will lose golf balls. Bunkers are rock pits
EastWood Golf Course

On this day, played around noon. No one in front, no one behind. No pressure to rush. Good day to learn and relax.
Tee boxes are short mown weeds. Most are not marked for yardage.
Fairways were the best thing going for the course, but US Open rough will kill high handicappers (like me). Expect to lose golf balls if you are not keeping it in the fairway. Metal yardage plaques are consistantly placed and accurate (as far as I can tell). Doglegs are at radical right angles and do NOT match the score card or the tee box pillar diagrams. So beware.
Bunkers are rock infested and need refilling with sand.
Greens would be interesting if kept up, but they are mostly brown and need to be overseeded. Pin flags were color coded and accurate which helped.
Driving Range and practice green are forgettable.
Staff was friendly so no complaints there.
This is a budget course and will challenge you to play fairways and greens in regulation. Woe unto you inaccurate golfers. Eastwood will eat you for lunch.
A rare bargain in this town, but you get what you pay for...
I've played worse courses and spent more to play them. I'll play here again.
Eagle Creek Golf Club
Played On 12/15/2019As slow as I-4 at rush hour
Course is nice. Too nice to take over 6 hours to play. Waited on average 5 minutes per shot. It was not just a slow group. Everyone was waiting. Gave up after 11 holes and drove forward to see if every hole was like this. It was. Too many players grouped too close together. Might try on a weekday but will never play here on a weekend ever again.
