Glen Abbey Golf Club
Played On 08/26/2019There is no way you should go her
I had the misfortune of paying a lot of money ($160) for an extremely slow round (2:45 for 9 holes) with poor playing conditions (all of the greens were aerated). My sense is that this place is a cash cow for the company that runs it. In fact the assistant in the pro shop said to someone on the phone that there is a corporate event their everyday. (I found this out while I was returning a shirt that I bought because I was disgusted with the place.) Crazy story - one of the "player assistance employees asked my group to "make sure that we kept pace of play" - while we were the third group waiting mid way through the first nine on a tee box. Talk about gaul!
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course
Played On 02/27/2015Magnolia = slow and in poor condition
This was a complete disappointment:
* it took three hours to play the front nine
* the course was in poor conditions
Put this on your list of places to avoid!!!
Hi Jimmcconeghy. Thanks for taking the time to review your recent round with us.
Although we are disappointed to hear of your comments, we would like the opportunity to discuss offline, we are available at playersclub@clublink.ca.
Glen Abbey is an active corporate event course, with many dates pre-booked, especially in June and September - although that wouldn't impact your visit on a non-event day.
We hope to hear from you for a future round opportunity.
