All staff from start to finish were very friendly, helpful, polite and courteous. Bit of a slow start waiting for carts to be returned but then once under way the Tee boxes were level and well grassed. Fairways were well kept, as were bunkers, and the greens were smooth. The speed of the greens were great 10- 10.5 on the Stimp metre and rolled true. Course layout was very good with some risk/reward holes keeping it interesting. There are 2 odd Tee shots on holes 10 and 14, requiring big draws (and I'm a draw hitter) but otherwise very fair. Unfortunately, for a private function closing the Clubhouse at 4pm resulted in no restrooms being available at the end of the round. Would definitely play here for the money over the Reunion - Nicklaus course for more than twice the cost (actually at the same cost I'd still play here first).

Thanks again Duran! It may have rained and rained it did from the 9th hole to the finish but still so much fun! The 3 guys I was put with were good guys but they did not have the gear I have and wore to continue onwards and upwards. I truly do like the layout of this course and the course is keep in good shape. I thank the cart guys for realizing there was a cart to come in yet. Only an 1 hour and 10 minutes to play the back 9 holes. Just me, the rain and the Merganser ducks. I appreciate all the awesome service from everyone at Duran. The 'Crazy Canuck'!

First, everyone I encountered at Champions Club was great, from check-in to bag drop and cart corral, the starter area. Truly makes the experience one where you want to come back and I will. This 18 hole course has many beautiful natural views with flowering plants and pond/marsh areas. I enjoy the layout and on a windy day you need to make a good shot, the challenge is there but playable. The greens were smooth but could be a bit faster pace would be nice. The ranger was friendly but could have asked the 4some in front of us to speed up or allow us to play through (they were at least 2 full holes behind the group in front of them). Still a course to play for the price with good practice facilities to warmup.

This is a very enjoyable course to play. Right from the get go all staff are exceptional. Check-in was great, cart guys as well, starter awesome job (Go Canada). Golfed with a great guy from Minnesota and the last hole with 2 Florida Tech guys from Germany and Sweden on golf scholarships. The course has some views where you have to think about your shot. You make your shot your rewarded, really the fairways are wide and it is very playable. Greens have subtle breaks and good elevation changes, plus they are the correct speed. Fast but not to fast! Definitely will play again! Recommended if you want to attack a golf course and see if you are good enough to score. Otherwise, play the course and enjoy the fact you can play golf without the big hole scores. Have fun!!

Absolutely, love this course! Second time playing here and it's even better than 3 years ago, when I very much enjoyed the outing. Wonderful staff, great practice facilities, terrific layout and I could keep going. It is challenging, especially the day before a Hurricane (potentially - Nicole is still a Tropical Storm at the time of review). The greens were a bit slow from sanding but rolled smooth and true (as the grounds keeper was taking advantage of the rain coming from Nicole, the greens will be even better in a week. Great job!) I will be back yet in November. Thanks to all at Lost Lake.

Love Sebastian Municipal! Staff is always friendly and accommodating. It's wide open, mostly, but a good layout. Definitely more of a challenge on a windy day, like 2 days before a Hurricane (Nicole). Greens run smooth and true, good speed, although I prefer faster. Cannot complain about anything overall, as price is right! Thanks Sebastian Municipal, I'll be back.

Played the Dunes 3 days earlier and those greens were faster. The greens on the Lakes course were 9 at best on the stimp meter. 11 to 12 are nice. Unfortunately I was not booked with anyone else and 2 guys did not want join, 2 ladies caught up for 5 holes. I did adjust on the back 9 nine to get back to even par for the round. Still like Sandridge, either course, but many golfers play Tees under 5000 total yards and I prefer about 6500 yds. Definitely golf it as it is fun!

All is generally good at Sandridge. The only unfortunate thing this round was no starter. Therefore 2 golfers wanted to golf on their own which were at our Tee Time. There ended up being 6 twosome in a row which makes it seem like a very long round. It wasn't, it was still 4 hours and 2 minutes but most of it was waiting not hitting your shot.

Second time playing this awesome layout, this trip. Amazing Hot Deal through GolfNow! The course staff are great, super friendly and very helpful, truly does make a difference in a day of golf. Pace was a bit slower than last time but a minor tournament was 2 groups in front of us, so all things considered, no problem. Challenging layout but still eagled #8 with a tough left side pin, made my day. Thanks St. Lucie Trail, I'll be back next year.

I had played the Dunes a couple of times, never thought I would like the shorter Lakes course. Boy was I wrong! It's excellent and plays longer than the 6200+ yards from the back tees. Especially with a 25 mph east wind. Narrow, hazards but very fair and very playable. I enjoyed it so much I think I might cancel my round else where and booked the Lakes again. Loved the 14th hole with the island green. The 3 guys I was with thought It's the hardest hole in all of Florida, not sure about that but I stayed right side of fairway with my drive, put the approach 9 feet left of the pin and made the birdie putt. You have to embrace a challenge and this course was but o' so much fun. Just hit the shots you need to hit off the tee and you can have a tremendously good time.

Tough course but fair with multiple tees. Narrow but still with adequate landing areas. Nice layout, undulating terrain and some smaller greens but I enjoyed it just as much the second time playing. Years after the first time and I will be back for a third.

Good course, enjoyable golf round. Practice facilities are good. Every staff member was great! Course has some undulations making for a little of a blind shot at times but check greens even more so to make putting a challenge. I like the layout as it was not just straight and open. It is a bit of the beaten track but I think it's worth the trip.

Always a fun course and a good time. All the staff were topnotch, super friendly and helpful. That truly does make a difference! Was paired with 3 really fun guys from New York, that also was a great difference. Good weather, good times and a good course to play! No one is above a Municipal course when it's like Sebastian. Well done and I will be back.

This was long over due. I am writing a second review as I told Charlie - Operations Director I would. My apologies as I should have done this beginning of December 2019. Overall the course was an enjoyable track and because of a direct call from Charlie to correct negative, I would 100% play again. Charlie showed how much he and many other staff at the course truly do want your experience to be TopNotch. Thank you Martin Downs Golf Club, a class act golf course!

First off the staff checking me in was very polite, thank you. The course itself was in good condition. I enjoyed the layout and it is very playable. You have to pick your target and make the shot, a map is always nice. But you can pretty well see each hole, or at least each shot to make on that part of the hole. Now for the not so good! When I finished at the range and approached the practice green I was told to go to the first tee. There were 3 groups of ladies who preferred to tee-off at 1 pm. My tee time was 12:58 pm and not for 22 minutes yet. I think it must have been because the course had a 2some then a single behind me. Also there was a single in front, a 2some before them, another single and another 2some. Poor management when a course allows this type of play and pace. Why golfers are not wanting to join and play together is usually because they feel they are not good enough. But ... the finish was the straw that I have never heard before. When I pulled up after a birdie on my final hole of my month long trip south, I was told "you have them all covered up. How is a ball guy being paid $9 an hour supposed to make a living". That is uncalled for, it is my right to clean my clubs after every shot. I paid alot of money for my equipment and I take very good care of that equipment. I'm not trying to hold back anyone from making a living at anytime in my life. But if a retired individual decides to take a job at a golf course for $9 an hour it was not me that made them. Shocking to be treated this way. I really wanted to give an overall 4 out of 5 but those couple of employees were 1 out of 5.

I very much enjoyed my day a Lost Lake. First the entire staff, pro shop, starter/rangers, cart people you are all awesome and accommodating, thank you. Thus course has absolutely beautiful scenery, driving through nature or houses. It's a wonderful layout but challenging, you miss the shot, you'll pay. Pick the correct club off the tee and you have the chance to be rewarded. Since I was a first timer for this course a map or book on layout and yardages would be very helpful. Without GPS on the carts, a booklet is is really mandatory. A couple of back tees are a bit rugged but the fairways and greens are great. Absolutely would play again and maybe in a few days before I forget the layout. Extra plus was some nice wildlife to be seen as well!

Nice layout of holes and a fair mix of holes as well. Beautiful scenery with the nature preserve next door. Course conditions were a bit soft hence the 90 degree cart rule. Greens are a bit tricky with the grain but playable. Overall I would recommend and play again.

Overall for the money it was a good experience. Really enjoyed the layout. I'm normally a right hand draw player and the course sets up well. Although is a fair track for any. Condition of course was good but not outstanding, maybe just the views of nature was not like some. I would play again and thank the course for the opportunity for value on Veterans/Remembrance Day (I'm Canadian).

Mother nature tried her best to rain the round out but I fit it in anyway. Most cancelled that day but the few that golfed, the course staff made it truly a great experience. The course is a great layout and the tricky greens rolled true. I also want to give a thank you to all the grounds crew, great job with keeping things in shape and for all the etiquette! Top notch all around, absolutely I would play again, thanks very much!

It was truly a great day of Links style golf. Wonderful practice facilities and oh yes from when you pull up to the bag drop to leaving through the proshop, after a quick drink, everyone is great! The entire staff is polite, courteous and helpful, they all made my day that much better because of how they treat you, well done Champios Gate. Thanks course was fantastic,loved the layout and everything was is excellent condition. Would a play here again, you betcha!
