Glaciers is deceptively challenging. It is a true test of golf. It is not tripped up to look difficult and not be. I think it’s the best players course in Macomb county.

Played On 07/05/2021They forgot the greens
They forgot the greens. This course has a great layout but the greens were slower than any greens I have ever played in my life. Most fairways are faster. It’s obvious they are not cutting them which is a shame because the greens were an intra-goal part of an excellent course

Course was in good shape but the greens were outstanding. They were smooth well cut, the ball rules nicely etc.

Played On 08/27/2020I am an amateur tournament player and I feel Glaciers is the best players course in Macomb County. I’ve never seen it so plush. Yes, the greens could have been Mowed better but it did rain just yesterday so I’ll give them a pass. Look forward to returning. The two starters I have come in contact with are excellent. Tim and Mike. A real plus. Get your round off to a good start!

Enjoy the challenge of this course. Extremely well laid out and difficult. Fast greens and although fair still requires accurate shot placement. You earn what you shoot.
Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Only problem is that the whole course tilts to the east and your putts do not break by what you see..in other words reading greens is very difficult

Played On 8/28/2013This course has a great layout....both in beauty and in substance
This is probably the best layout in lower/mid Michigan. Every hole is different and presents its unique challenge. It's not "tricked up" but you must think your way around. The "carry" required over hazards is fair and at the same time thrilling. My ONLY criticism, if you want one, is that I wish the greens were mowed better. The grass on them seems too long resulting in a stimp reading of less than 10 (would be my guess) It is a must play.

Played On 4/26/2013This course is a great value
This course is extremely demanding....there are no "easy" holes, yet it is totally fair. It can be quite penal due to "Oakmont" like fairway traps and wetland areas in front of the greens. It has only one "bad" hole, #15.......a par four that requires two midirons unless you can drive it 295+ across the hazard. The greens are multi level and challenging too and roll fairly true. The green quality could be better. I always look forward to playing it...because I like a course that challenges me on every shot.
Thanks for the 4 stars!
