We have been coming on golf trips to Arizona for the last 2 years. This is the 20th course we have played on our 2 trips to Arizona. It is without a doubt the worst of any of these courses. Greens are green, even though most of the grass is crap grass. Tee boxes so hard you can't get a tee into the ground. Lots of bare spots in the fairways, and the fairways and approaches to the greens are hardpan. Sand in the bunkers is crusted over, and there are not any rakes for any of the bunkers. Some water and some maintenance would do a lot for this course. Someone must have decided this as well, as a couple of traps were completely filled with water. Cart paths were the worst I have driven on in Arizona. This would be a $25 green fee anywhere else in the country. $57 dollars on Golfnow for the Phoenix area. Go anywhere else for a better experience.

arrived 1 hour early for an 11:45 tee time. At 11:45 no golf carts available. 4 groups waiting for carts. At 12:00 no golf carts available. now 6 groups waiting for carts. At 12:15 no golf carts available and now 8 groups waiting for carts. At 12:30, still no carts available. We requested a refund and left. No idea about the course. Did not play.. Lots of apologies by the staff, but still no carts.

Everything was good. Good tee boxes, good fairways, good greens, good carts, good staff. I don't believe it fits into the excellent category, but it was a good value for the green fee, and I will certainly play again when in the area.

Everything was nice. The carts are newer Club Car Tempo electric . The staff was nice. The tee boxes and fairways are nice. Greens rolled true and were quick. Beverage cart girl nice. Only negative is the practice area is on the far side of the property, and they will not let you use the cart to get there. Will definitely play again.

I should have known what to expect when the golf cart assigned to us had 2 holes in the roof, the seat was taped together with duct tape and the bag cover on the back of the cart was tied on with rope. Greens are bumpy and do not roll evenly. An 8 foot putt is sometimes 3 feet past the hole, and the next 8 foot putt, hit the same, is a foot short. Fairways are very thin. The ladies tees are just tee markers stuck into the fairway. The shame about this is that they are the best tee areas on the course. It does have a covered range which is nice in south Florida. The starter was very nice.

Where do I begin. Possibly the slowest golf carts I have ever driven. According to my speedometer app, 9 miles per hour. But, I guess this speed is good, because the fairways are the roughest I have ever played. It is like 10,000 speed bumps all next to each other. If you were going any faster, it would shake parts off the cart and your body. Cart paths are not much better holes, bumps, tree roots uprooting the path. Greens are very nice. Tee boxes are OK, Fairways are thin, especially the run-ups to the greens. I guess they are trying to get grass to grow because every run-up was saturated and nothing but mud. Lots of courses in this area. I would find someplace else.

Tee boxes,, fairways and greens are all nice. Greens are quick and roll true. Some of the greens have undulations and pin placement on the slopes of the green make for interesting putting. Good carts, good cart paths,

Course in good shape. Fairways nice grass. Greens fast and lots of slope. Like putting on a billiard table on a West Virginia hillside. Lots and lots of sand and bunkers everywhere. Some fairways sloped. Some forced carries over water and waste areas. Will play it again.

Good course, good grass, good layout, good greens. Greens run true and had a little speed to them. Worth the money. Never been disappointed here.

Tee boxes are a little thin in areas, fairways are nice, and greens are smooth, run true, and are fast. A little crab grass on the greens that does not belong, but does not affect the roll of the ball. The main drawback is the pro shop. There isn't one. You check in with the girl working the bar in the lounge. It took us over 15 minutes to check in, because the 8 people in front of us were ordering drinks for the lounge, beers on ice for the course and other drinks for the course, plus hot dogs and other food for the lounge and the course. She had to wait on them, bag the beer and ice, prepare the hot dogs and other food for them before we could check in. We arrived at 11:00 for an 11:52 tee time and requested a bucket of balls to warm up before we played. The employee advised she had no range balls, as she had already gone through the few that she was provided. Out of balls at 11 am????

I have played Providence many times in that last several years, just about every time I am in the area. It has always been one of my favorites. The course is in good condition for the most part. Tee boxes are average, fairways are good, and greens very nice. Today the range was closed, because "they were working on it". All I saw was they were adjusting the yardage signs. This can't be done at the beginning of the day, before the golfers arrive? They are adding lots of houses around the course and construction is full speed on 4 of the holes. It is like playing putt-putt through windmills and such, except you are golfing around front end loaders, and backhoes and earth movers. You are driving through active construction sites to get between holes. If you like quiet and solace when you are driving, hitting fairway shots or putting, forget about it.

I understand the course was recently rebuilt, new tee boxes, new fairways, new greens, to the cost of $2 million. You can certainly see it. The course is absolutely great. You would never know you are in Florida on this course. Lots of ups and downs and elevation changes. Some longs forced carries over valleys. Great grass everywhere. Greens are fast and roll true with lots of undulations. The only drawback is the greens are still very young, and approach shots into the green don't hold very well. When the shots hit the greens, the sound is like the ball landing on a wooden table and most of the time you get the same result, you are bouncing through the green and ending up long. Once the get a little more mature, I think they will be absolutely perfect.

Lots of rain in the summertime in Florida, but it doesn't affect this course at all. The course drains very well. The greens are great, fairly fast, after being punched a month ago, and roll true. They have healed nicely. The fairways are great. The tees boxes are great. The staff are great. The carts not so great. No windshields. No bag covers. Get a cart with a high number on the side. The newer carts have the higher numbers. One of my favorite courses in all of Florida. I will be back It is well worth the green fee. I recommend it highly.

First time playing here. The starter was great. Gave us lots of useful and important information. We were a 2-some. When we arrived at the 1st tee, a 4-some was waiting to tee off. The starter asked the 4-some if they would let us play first. 3 hours and 10 minute round for us. Some of the tee boxes are thin, but that is why you use a tee. Greens are good. Fairways are mostly good. Well worth the $36. We will happily play it again.

The final round of a 2 week trip to Arizona. Challenging course with lots of water winding through the course. Good greens, tee boxes and fairways. Nice carts. Truly enjoyed the round.

We found the whole experience to be very enjoyable. The pro shop is a little spare, and not well stocked if you want to purchase shirts or outerwear, but the staff in the pro shop and the bar & grill are very friendly. We then met with the cart attendant/starter who was doing double duty. He was very friendly and pointed out where to go and what to do on the course. The course itself is in good shape, especially for being in our dry time of the year. The fairways and tee boxes had plenty of grass to hit from, even though they were not carpets, they were fine. The greens had been sanded the day before because of an anticipation of heavy rain overnight that did not arrive. Even though they were sanded they were still much faster than we expected. They rolled true with very little break The whole experience was quite enjoyable, and it be on my list to replay when we are back in the area.

Lot's of construction in progress on the first 3 holes. It was interesting standing on the tee-box and having an oversized dump truck driving down the fairway at you. Large dump trucks, front end loaders and road-graders and not good for fairways. Deep ruts caused by the heavy equipment make for washboard fairways. Tee boxes and fairways are very thin with little grass. I think this is the dustiest course I have ever played. This is the dry season in Florida, and it appears there is no sprinkler system on the course. When we finished our round, we have to beat our golf bags with towels, to get all the dust off our bags. Greens are perfect, except for a couple holes that have some bare spots under repair. The fastest greens I have played on in a while. Nice. I will try it again, after the construction is finished and after we get some rain.
