I play this course multiple times a season, and thought it was the in best condition I’ve played. Nice fairways and greens. I’ll always dislike 9&17, but other than that course is a good one.

I normally don’t play the state courses close to the city, and I was reminded today why. Teetimes were slim everywhere but happened to get a 12pm slot the day of. First time out for the season so why not. Total confusion as to where to wait/get a cart, as there are hoards of golfers standing around. Pace of play is unbearable, 5 and a half hour round, 1.5 hours on 3 holes alone. I’ll give a them a little break for course conditions since is early season, but it wasn’t good. Layout is nothing to write home about, pretty plain. Overall it is not worth 60 round, especially when the cart barely works. I can play other Westchester county courses for less and they are way better.

Beautiful Pete Dye course, no public course in the tristate area like it. For the money conditions could be better. Course is very soft, greens leave footprints etc... not many people fixing their marks. But overall it’s a great layout, fun to play but tough. Not a flat lie anywhere on the course.

Second time playing here and it really is a well maintained course, nice layout, alot do doglegs but very fair. I’ve played all the courses around Rockland, Westchester and this is my new favorite, mainly because it’s well kept, tee boxes are flat and not beat up!

Out of all the courses I be played in the tri state area, this one was by far the least enjoyable. From the cart rattling/banging, to the unidentified carts paths, the sand trap teeboxes .... oh and those two holes that together create a full circle, very odd.

If the price was more like $25, it would make more sense.

Short course, but tight. Always in decent condition. Greens a little slow but predictable. Easy walking course

course was a little beat up with marks and divots. I like this course besides for a few holes, but for their normal prices I Find it overpriced, especially since there is no range to warm up at. It’s worth it if you can get a hot deal for sure.

Besides holes 7 & 8, course is solid. Good layout, challenging par 5’s, and a mix of elevations.

It’s overpriced normally, as a public course, but great if you get a good deal on GolfNow.

I played here with a 60$ golf now price. I would not pay 120 to play here. Fairways and greens are very well taken care off, and greens are fast, almost like Bethpage. course layout isn't my favorite, I feel it's too all over and too many uphill tee shots/holes, and when I say uphill I mean it. Starters where just sending people out at their leisure. When they sent me, there was a foursome waiting to tee up.... And they sent a double behind us and a single behind them... They were waiting for us every hole as we teed off...

Overall it's a decent course, nice change especially with the greens, not many fast greens around Richland/ Westchester. I'll play again next year when it's 60$

First time playing his course, found a tee time on golf now for 35$ 18 holes. The course is only a 9 hole but it was really nice. Very well maintained and just refreshing change from the state public courses. I play in Naples, FL a lot and this course kinda reminded me of that style of play... Town homes surround. Overall great course, I wouldn't pay the usual 90$ per round but for 35$ it was the best round of the year, just different style of course than the local state courses, lots of water and elevation, greens are great.

First time playing sprain lake. I usually play maple Moore, mohansic, centennial. Sprain lake is a bit disorganized. First the tee time was backed up 45 mins late...I mean there were so many people waiting on the tee, it looked like a tournament going on or something.... Then the pace of play was unbearable.... People need to play during the week if you can't hit past the women's tees by your third shot. Total was 4.5 hour round( 5.25 counting the tee time wait) AND WE SKIPPED TWO HOLES because these people were just taking their time. No rangers on the course telling people to pick up the pace. Rangers are always telling people to pick up the pace on the other course I go to. Didnt get cart deposit back because I didn't drop the cart off at the first tee which is 200 yards downhill from the clubhouse and another 100 yards to the parking lot. Picked up my cart at the clubhouse and dropped it off there just like everywhere else I play.
The course does have some fun and nice holes and not in bad condition. Doesn't seem like anyone fixes their ball marks on the greens, they were like war zones. The pace was unbearable every shot felt like my first tee shot I waited so long.
