This course was in good condition considering its still winter. But the temp was 65* and comfortable considering its only March 4th! Was surprised they were open, but was a gift that they were. The course was wet (expected) with cart path only on the front and for the 11th and 12th holes on the back. Greens still showed small holes from the Fall aerification, but were rolling pretty true and pretty fast considering. Fun Links style course with some personality. One of my favorite courses. I live near Syracuse, NY, but was well worth the hour-15-minute drive. I strongly recommend this course! When the course gets back to summer perfect it is definitely a 5-star course. IMO one of the best course in NYS.

Always a great golf course to play and one of the big three courses in the Binghamton area, along with Conklin Players Club and En-Joie golf club. Three negative takeaways were the greens hade recently been poked. But were about 74% healed but slow and still slightly bumpy, Give it another week or two to be fully healed. (not mentioned that GolfNow never mentioned the poked greens) Also, the bunkers were unkept. And some of the cart paths were in terrible shape. Some of the holes were cart path only, but I had to ride out away from the cart path as otherwise my back would not have survived the hard bumpy ride. I am mostly talking about the cart path along the river holes.

And now back to the good. From Tee to green was in great shape for this time of year. Love the course design, a beautiful professional style layout. Extremely picturesque. Course is full of possible signature holes. Staff was very friendly. Overall a fantastic experience minus a few negatives. Would strongly recommend it. Well worth the over hour ride from the Syracuse area. And the GolfNow rate was a bonus at less than $30. Hope to play it again before winter sets in. I'd have given it 5 stars except for a few minor negatives.

Course, tee through fairways and on the greens always in very good condition. Even after wet rain, the course seems unaffected. I encourage those who have never played this course to try it. You will not be disappointed. Just a warning though--this course is a bit hilly, but with great views.

Haven't played this course much this summer, but when I do, always in very good condition, tee through green.and u can't beat the friendliness of the staff. Strongly recommend Sherman Hills to those who have not played it. Mostly a links style course excepting 13 through 15. The greens are quick but fair. It is worth the drive from Tampa.

Rogues West is IMO underrated. I used to dislike playing the West and always preferred playing the East, but have now changed my mind after recently getting used to playing the West. Condition-wise, in very good shape tee to green. not perfect, but close. And the greens are in great shape and IMO faster than the East. I have come around to really enjoying the West and a total turnaround to my really not liking the course until recently, and usually avoiding it when possible. Try the West and I believe you will enjoy it.

Really great course in great condition. The greens were poked last week, but with tiny holes you hardly notice, and the ball was still rolling fast. Not as fast before being poked, but fast enough that you had to worry about speed. Staff is very friendly. My son got sick halfway through the front nine and had to quit, And the pro was extremely understanding and gave him a 9-hole rain check. Carts are in great shape, but my only complaint is that they are too slow. Strong recommend--try Sunset Ridge and you won't be disappointed.

I have played this course many times and just keep coming back! The owner is supper friendly and personable. As for the course, in great condition for this time of year. The greens are very fast and challenging. Fairways tee to green in great shape. I strongly recommend this to all who have yet to play here. You will find the course challenging but fair and fun. The course is very hilly, so you'd better be in great shape if you want to walk it. My only complaint is that the Asphalt golf paths are in dire need of fixing.

Course was in great condition. Greens extremely fast. A fun day. Strong recommend. Go play the East before the weather forces the course to close. You will not be disappointed

The good first. Great staff and very friendly and helpful. Nice practice facilities including green and range. Course is a nice setup, challenging and long and tough even from the red tees. Nice clubhouse and food was great including an outside cookout grill.
Now for the bad. The course was packed and there was a shortage of carts so we had to wait about a half hour to get a couple but that in itself was not a big problem vas we arrived about 40 minutes early for our tee time. And with all of the play, the pace of play was slow and to be expected, but not for the over 5 hour round it took us.
As for the golf course, the conditions were not as good as was expected of an Orlando course that for some reason gets better reviews than deserved. The greens were average speed (8.5-9.5) and for the most part in good shape. But there were some deadspots and discoloration on several greens, and one green was terrible with what looked like holes freshly punched, dressed with sand and maybe not savable. The tees had lots of weeds and were not cut well, especially the red tees. The fairways had lots of weeds and were sparsely seeded Bermuda with bare dead spots around. Definitely not well cut carpet looking. Not the esthetically pleasing well conditioned golf courses you'd expect in the Orlando area.
And IMO not worth the $28 Golfnow rate we paid even for a Sunday. Heritage isle in Tampa is much cheaper and a far better conditioned course.
I wouldn't recommend this course under present conditions for more than $20. Was not really worth the long almost 2 hour drive to play this Orlando course.

Really like the setup of this course, and my favorite holes are 13 and 18, both of which require a carry over a brushy hazard for the green approach shot. There are plenty of weeds, but cut low to not be much of a problem in fairways, or greens which are fast regardless. Will be back to play and highly recommend.

Love playing this mostly links style course. Only negative is they are rebuilding greens on holes 13 and 14 so have a couple of temp greens set up. Hole 17 green could use some fixing mostly on the back side of the green. Over all course is in nice condition. Would have no problem recomme ding this course. I come down to Florida during the summer months And this is one of my favorite go to courses.

I really like the layout of this course. Condirion is average with weeds on most greens, but even with that the greens are surprisingly quick with mostly smooth rolling. Love holes 13 and 18. Fairways and tees have weeds but doesn't affect play. Was told that the course bond is expected to be paid off this year and the management will then start making course improvements. IMO this course has great potential. Overall would have no problem recommending this golf course.

The course as a nice layout. But the condition of the greens were almost unputtable. Need a lot of work. Tees also could use some tlc. But still, the layout makes this a must try at least once staff was great and friendly. Just felt the course was over priced considering the conditions.

The course was in very good condition. They are repairing the fairway bare spots on #7 and have re-seeded it. The dressed the greens a few days ago, and they are running much faster now. Fairways were dry and running the way I like. No wet spots or puddles on any of the fairways. Fun course and you can't beat the friendly staff. Strong recommend,

This course has a great layout with plenty of water holes, Aside from the 9th and 18th bunkers, the rest are mostly dirt and could use plenty of new sand. The greens are fast, but fair. strong recommend

Played the East Course and it is nice condition for most of the holes. But the Fairway on hole #7 is chewed up with not much grass, They should try over-seeding that fairway. The greens are in good shape, but not running as fast as in the summer. They haven't completely healed from last November's aeration but putting them is OK as the speed is around a 9. . I play the senior/red tees that are fairly placed. Love this course and strongly recommend.

Very nice course always in great condition. Greens are tough and fast. Fairways are in great shape and the rough is not penal. but course is hilly and would not recommend walking. Not many flat spots to hit from. Highly recommend.

Love playing the East. Nice condition. The greens still show some signs of the Fall aeration so not as fast presently as the West side. The course was dry and the fairways running, making the course play short which is great for a short hitter as myself. This course has everything including traps and water that comes into play on several holes. And the par-3s are fun. strong recommend as the East is one of the area's better courses IMO.

Played the West because it was all that was available on GolfNow. Greens very fast and much more so than the East course presently. For me, kind of a boring setup and not as much personality as the East. But still would recommend. The took a lot of trees down, but not enough to affect play.
