Thorntree Country Club

This is one of the toughest tracks in the metroplex. The only downside is no water on the course and no cart person.

This was a fun and challenging course to play. The fairways and tee boxes were pristine. The greens rolled fast but true.
If I'm ever back in Jacksonville. I'm playing this course 1st.

From the moment I stepped out of my car. I was met with kindness. The starter made sure I had the course layout and knowledge about several holes. I ordered lunch and it was ballpark level.
The greens, fairways were in excellent condition. It was well worth the price.

This course layout is awesome but the actual course could use some love. The greens weren't too bad. If there were money tossed into this course it would rocket to the top.
With all that being said it's a course worth playing.

Really enjoyed playing this course. The only knock is playing in the Texas heat and no water on the course. They should have a cart come around the course.
Tangle Ridge Golf Club

I love playing TR...Its elevation gives you a lot of pause when you step in the box. The only negative I will share is. I wish they had water for player on the course. Other than that an awesome course.

I hadn't played the course since last January. I like the improvement to the course such as the sand traps. But the greens were really bumpy and hard. But I look forward to playing in the spring once the greens have filled in. I do like the revamped range.

They've upgraded there carts which now has scorecard, yardage and lots more. Now, they are repairing the sand traps.
