I’m not sure if they had there lawn mower stolen, the course layout is great, the staff are amazing but the fairways feel like playing out of the rough and the tee boxes feel like playing of the back of a yeti.
It’s a shame, the staff and layout is great but the course maintenance isn’t, this course was once one the best around, but needs some care and attention.

Course in great shape, shame no kiosk open for food but I guess they don’t open when it quite, not a big issue but you may want to pack a sandwich or something before you play the course.

Like this course, looks nice, but fairway grass long needs mowing, tee boxes long grass like the some rough’s needs mowing and bunkers sand need to be churned up, when people are hitting the ball out of the bunker with there putter why even have bunkers.

When we booked online the course didn’t say anything like other courses about cart path only.
Course in amazing shape but that would have been an honest thing to let people know before they booked. Not good for someone just coming back from knee injury.

Course has a nice flowing aspect to it, each hole has its own charm.
Greens and course are in great condition.

Course was in good condition as they were setting up for reseeding starting Monday.
Will 100% go back, can’t wait for the course to be reopened.
All the staff were friendly and fun to chat with.
Thanks to Hannah in the bar, she must have thought my Irish luck had run out, every tap beer I ordered ran out and she had to change out the barrel, what a trooper.

I’ve heard that the Gold Course is the flag ship course for Wigwam.
We called before we booked, we asked how the course was and was told it’s the best shape it’s ever been.
I’m sorry but now I understand why no one else was out there, I understand that courses have to punch and sand the course but saying the course is in the best shape was a complete fabrication of the truth.
Fairways not to bad but the greens were awful, sand, patches everywhere, around the greens was literally mud and holes. I can imagine when this course is fixed it would be perfect but not right now, no way, please try and be honest for future.

Course is perfect, great driving range.
Staff are really cool..
What more could you ask for.

Firstly how about trying to smile or at least make some effort in communicate in a friendly manner with people that play, first impressions last.
The counter guy must hate his job, it wasn’t a pleasant experience what so ever.
On course, Wendy the cart lady was awesome, so friendly and helpful.
Maybe she should work in the pro shop!!!!!
The course itself was fun to play, greens and bunkers in great condition plus the fairways were perfect.
Sorry only gave it three stars as the start of the experience which is key made the round feel like, well I can’t put the word in I want.

Always loved playing this course, was a major course back in the day, only one real issue.
Some of the greens need some attention, apart from that fun course to play.

Nice layout, greens a little slow, tee box, grass is a little to long, they have just over seeded so they may cut the grass soon and trim it up but overall it’s a fun track to play.

First time playing at this course, liked the set up and the greens were in fantastic shape. Fairway also in good shape. Staff friendly in pro shop, cart area and bar.

Played this course once in June loved it, knew I was back in Palm Springs this week and only course out of the 100s in Palm I really wanted to play, didn’t disappoint, great layout with a fair challenge. One of the best courses around.

Hillcrest is a great track to play, each hole is different.
Only thing that lets down the course are the bunkers, hard, not much sand.
But apart from that well worth a visit.
