Coyote Ridge Golf Club
Played On 06/17/2021As good as it gets in DFW right now!
Course is in fantastic shape minus a few areas of flooding. Given the freeze this winter followed by the recent torrential rain, this is about as good as it gets for a public track in DFW right now. Greens were above average.
Staff was great, but not having water coolers or water bottles available on the course is absolutely ridiculous on 100° days.
Wolfdancer Golf Club
Played On 12/13/2020Amazing course, but they desperately need a marshall.
First time out and the course is everything it's hyped up to be. Starting with the massive, all-grass range, it's a top notch experience. Pace of play was miserable though, the group in front of us had no idea what they were doing and frequently fell more than a hole off the pace.
Strongly recommend playing there, but tee off early and except a really slow round.
Live Oak at Clubs of Lakeway, The
Played On 12/12/2020Unexpectedly good course!
We came down from Dallas (ClubCorp members) and didn't know what to expect. The practice facility and clubhouse certainly aren't anything special, but this neighborhood course is actually a fantastic layout that was in great shape. Greens were smooth and fast, fairways were as good as you can ask for in mid-December. Some really tough shots into small greens!
Riverside Golf Club
Played On 05/27/2018Rock solid!
Played today, tee time at 1pm. This course is deceiving when you pull up. Older clubhouse, doesn't look like much from the parking lot. But man, is it a gem. Awesome layout all the way around, fair but challenging (except #7, that's a dumb golf hole). Greens rolled GREAT, which seems to be a rarity in the DFW area right now. Definitely worth the play!
Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa - The General Course
Played On 7/17/2013Absolutely Incredible, just one issue...
It goes without saying that The General is one of the top 5 courses in the Illinois/Indiana/Wisconsin/Iowa area. Each hole is truly spectacular and the layout is second to none for a Midwest course. The only issue, and it was extremely obnoxious, was the amount of bugs. On a couple of greens, it was so bad that our group simply picked up our balls and drove to the next hole. Apparently the course has some kind of solution that you can apply to your clothing to keep them away, but we didn't receive this message until after the round!
Other than the bugs, our experience was A+ quality. The staff and course conditions were great, thank you!
Excellent! Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Coyote Ridge Golf Club.
