Every aspect of this course is World Class.
Coming off their over-seeding, course was in stellar condition. Will only get better as season moves along.
I really enjoy the name recognition, the lack of nickel & diming ie water, tees added to golf cart.
A winning team!
Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course
Played On 11/08/2020Sad
First time playing the South course and it was after their seasonal reseeding.
Haven’t played a course in such disrepair in this area. Greens were bumpy and inconsistent in speed, bunkers have plants growing in them and lacking sand, fairways and greens have bare patches.
Even tee boxes are in dire straits
Staff lacked any real energy and drive
PGA WEST Pete Dye Dunes Course
Played On 10/30/2020Good test of golf!
Played right after seeding, Greens were very slow and inconsistent in speed and were bumpy, rather frustrating.
Mats on Driving range are past their expiration date, great to see brand new golf balls.
Staff is all areas were super friendly and very accommodating with my knee injury and being allowed to drive to the ball.
Course is deceptively challenging, pay attention!!!
PGA WEST Greg Norman Course
Played On 10/21/2020Solid
Staff are always very welcoming some even remembering your name.
Course layout is terrific, we played last day prior to over seeding yet greens were in great shape
Driving range is a winner with an all grass experience and no mats.
Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course
Played On 10/17/2020Rough around the edges
Pls note that as requested, I am mindful of the Covid challenges when writing this review. However someone is taking their eye off what matters and not all is due to Covid....
THE STAFF are without exception very kind, cheerful, engaging and really stood out, KUDOS! :) I was really impressed!!
THE FACILITY has aged and has not seen any TLC. Case in point: restrooms, pro shop, parking lot... none have aged well and appear not to be priorities.
Golf Carts have a very old GPS with a very small screen and not ability to zoom in on the GREENS nor other features as seen at PGA, IWGR etc... Carts are old. My cart had a weak drivetrain with odd power surges and braking throughout the round and whining noises. Ice cooler had a cracked lid.
THE COURSE (North). The GREENS were amazing in their pace, consistent speed and condition. Someone of the best I’ve played. The rest of the course has very obvious signs of neglect that are older than the Covid situation: massive areas of worn grass, cart paths that are cracked, the massive Hole signs on rock slabs are worn, faded, cracked and peeling. Grass around the greens and bunkers are erratic in length and look. The Scorecard was a photocopy on light blue paper from a previous tournament (At the bottom it stated we were the 7am tee time on hole 3A, Team 5). The driving range as a facility is nice: hitting on grass and no mats with generous room in each stall, however balls are distributed from a machine with a code (like a muni) and the balls are worn out with almost no dimples.
The actual challenge of the course is great with a very good golfing challenge.
Keeping in mind the distance required to drive to this course and the many choices that we have, Ownership needs to step up their game ....

Always a pleasure playing here.
Greens not as consistent in terms of speed
Mission Hills - Gary Player Course
Played On 10/02/2020So so
- balls on range in very poor condition
- GPS not the best model available
- grass cuttings on ground in fairway and rough: stopping balls and hiding those in rough
- no water on cart
- no bev cart
- greens with varying speeds
Thank you for playing and sharing you review and feedback. We appreciate it. Hope to see you again soon!
