I try to play a new course every week through golf now, and start to create a short list of courses that I will play more consistently once I’ve gone through most of them. I can say that 100% certainty that Shingle Creek will be on my short list. Course is always in fantastic shape. Not a lot of water, but some longer holes are certainly a challenge. Greens are coming out of aeration so they were a little fast. Staff is always friendly, and amenities are fantastic. Looking forward to my next round soon!

Pulled up and was greeted by an attendant who placed my clubs on a cart and drove me to the pro shop. I love when rounds start like this and such a simple act of guest service is pretty much the only reason I make sure to carry cash anymore.

The course itself was in pretty good shape. A couple tee boxes that needed some work, and a couple greens that were getting work done to the them. These improvements were nothing that would prevent me from coming back. Course presented plenty of challenges and was overall a great round.

Course itself was in decent shape. Tee boxes were pretty rough, fairways were okay, but Greens were good. Great shape and rolled true. Not a lot of water on the course, and the layout of the course was pretty good. However I only got to the the front 9. Made the turn onto 10 only to find a group on the green, a five some in the fairway , and two groups at the tee. So I turned around and played the front 9 again.

Decent size bar area, no beverage cart.

Im not saying I wouldn’t recommend playing this course, but it just may be awhile before I return. Price point was a tad high.

Working in celebration I drive by this course all the time, so I was very excited to find a hot deal. After playing this course, it doesn’t matter how much you book it for this course is worth the price. Beautiful layout, beautiful greens, staff was friendly. I honestly think this was the best round I’ve played all year and I can’t wait to go back.

Course has some great things about it. Greens were in fantastic shape. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. Small pro-shop with not a ton of amenities. Starter rushed us out early to make way for a member skins game that was going on. Was told by another golfer that it is under newer management and he is trying to do some really cool things with the course. (Fairway work, Bigger social media presence, glow golf) Wasnt too bad for the price! Would recommend to try!

Found this course as a hot deal and thought I would give it a try. Was not disappointed! Definitely for target golfers. Course was in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were in decent shape. Loved the fairways. Greens definitely need some work, but it looks like the course and clubhouse are going through some renovations. Course is low on amenities, but I’m guessing that will change once all the renovations are done. Would absolutely recommend, and I look forward to playing it again soon

Greens were in rough shape, but nothing some irrigation can’t fix. Clubhouse is under renovation, so low on amenities, but definitely a great play and looking forward to playing the course again

Had read decent reviews about the course and am still trying to play a new course every week to eventually build a short list of courses that I try to play more often, so I had high hopes.

To be honest... I still have high hopes. Decent course with good bones. Tee boxes were kind of rough. Fairways and overall course layout were in great shape. Greens had their rough patches here and there but you could tell they are doing work on it. You may have also read that the rough is really high and difficult. Well... that’s true. But even for an amateur golfer like myself I enjoy it! Presents a new challenge and really makes you keep it in the fairway.

Course was low on amenities. No cart girl, and not a whole lot in the pro shop. I try to grab a logo ball where ever I go and the attendant said they don’t stalk up on merch until the fall when more members come back into town.

also those foxtail squirrels were awesome!!

All and all I would give a 6 or 7 out of 10, and will definitely be back to play again.

I see this course every day driving on I4 and finally decided to give it a try. I was certainly not disappointed!! I grabbed an early tee time to try to avoid the heat. Met the staff right as I walked in, and everyone was very attentive and courteous. Tee time came with a small bucket of range balls but I went right to the first tee. Course was in fantastic shape from every tee box to green. What the course lacks in length, it certainly makes up for in difficulty. Some challenging blind shots and narrow approaches, but it was a great round. Was lucky enough to be playing with one of the assistant pros, Brent, who was a great ambassador to the course and the game. If I had had the time I would’ve loved to have tried the restaurant, which also has great reviews. Course did have water stops and a cart girl as well. I can’t wait to play again and would recommend this course to anyone.
