We were having a nice round when making the turn for the back nine we were told by management the course was going to close in one hour at 2:00 pm and we had to have our cart in by 1:45. Unbelievable in over 20 years of playing golf on courses throughout the country never ever have I experienced anything like this. At 1:30 they were pulling flags. I would think there is a better way to operate a golf course, why open at all. I wish when booking the round through Golf Now they would have mentioned the time restriction.

The Geese are taking over the holes that have water leaving their calling cards on greens and fairways. I don't know what the Superintend can do about it especially the 18th hole. On the 18th hole the fairway was loaded with droppings so much so you could not take a step without "stepping in it" not to mention the feather and the grass being torn up.
Other than the Geese nice play to play.

During the golf season (October to May) this course is in tip top shape but it is the dead of summer and it has taken it's toll. Dry areas on most fairways with sparse grass however greens in good condition. Even with dry conditions the course is still fun and hats off to the ground crew.

Very enjoyable round despite very high rough and a few very damp areas due to sprinkler leaks. I would play this course again.

I play this course every time I come to the Phoenix area. Great staff and fun course.

Favorite course. Wide open fairways and challenging greens.

It was just me and the lizards but the course was in great shape not dried out like most tracks here in the desert this time of year. Greens were also in good condition in general it was worth battling the heat to play 18 holes at this very good course.

It is what it is an enjoyable round of golf nothing fancy.

The course has nice wide fairways so you can swing from the heels. Players weren't looking for lost balls so the pace of play was good. Nice relaxing round of golf.

Played a round with my golfing buddy and this was the first time we have played this course. We learned quickly that hitting the ball straight was more important than going for distance. The weather did get a little toasty but still very enjoyable plenty of drinking water available through out the course. We would play this course again.

First time but won't be the last. Even though the course was busy pace of play was very good we moved right along. Greens were in good condition and plenty of challenging holes at my level.

Always enjoy playing Calimesa however this time the course was very dry. There were several greens under repair. I know the next time I play here within the next 30 days everything will be back in good condition.

Played in a lite rain which made the round fun and unusual. The course handled the rain well with only a few puddles. Would definitely play this course again only on a dry day next time.

The course was in excellent condition. The only negative the trees were being trimmed and the 11th hole was unplayable with workers and equipment all around the green and blocking the cart path. However I will play this course again minus the tree trimmers.

Enjoyed 18 holes of golf on a course that was in good shape considering the time of year here in the hot desert. I liked the wide fairways and consistent greens without any brown spots.

Wide open spaces and great weather.

This course never fails always in great shape and fun to play. The staff very professional and welcoming. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to have a great experience but then the course would become over crowded. Go play the Legends.

First time playing this course but it will not be the last. Staff very pleasant and professional making the experience a positive. Play was on a Friday so the course was slow at times next time I will try mid week.

The course was in great shape. The views are in creditable. Nice wide fairways and long let the big dog eat.
