Waumbek Golf Club
Played On 09/09/2018Disappointed
Waumbek is a short course with very small greens and stunning mountain views. The course conditions left a lot to be desired. Very shaggy beat up tee boxes, bunkers that need attention, and fairways that seem more like first cut rough. This course really needs some TLC. This was our third time playing it in a 8 year span and the course seems to be going downhill.
Wentworth Golf Club
Played On 09/24/2017Always fun to play
The Wentworth is always a fun course to play. It is not overly long and if you can hit your driver straight your playing a small wedge into most greens. Playing a fairway wood off most tees still only leaves you a short iron into the greens. The back has several tricky holes but if you play them smart, they are very manageable. The views, especially from the 15th green are exceptional. Greens tend to be a little on the slow side, but are usually in pretty good shape. Not the toughest course to play, but always a lot of fun.
Ridgewood Country Club
Played On 08/01/2017Good challenge
1st time playing the course. It was in good condition with very nice greens. Not having played before found it very challenging with numerous blind shots and hazards. The young fella in the pro shop was less than receptive, more interested in his smart phone than the customer. Course is worth playing
North Conway Country Club
Played On 07/01/2017Best Course in the Valley
This is by far the best course in the Mount Washington Valley. The course has some fair challenge but doesn't completely beat you up for an errant shot. Course is always in excellent conditions with fantastic views to enjoy. Besides the excellent golf course, the restaurant has very good food at reasonable prices. The only down fall is that it can back up on the weekends as it gets very busy. If you get the chance to play NCCC, you will enjoy it
