Crystal Falls Golf Course
Played On 10/01/2023Conditions were great
Played here a lot over the years and it can be hit or miss. Course was in excellent condition after the recent rain. Greens were holding shots and fairways were lush.
Keep it up Crystal Falls!
Crystal Falls Golf Course
Played On 05/28/2023Improving, but SLOW pace
Course is definitely improving. Greens are nice and rolling well, which is a big upgrade from the last time I played here.
Two big issues:
1) Pace of play. Took 5:15 to play 18 holes. No one on course keeping the pace moving. One tee had 3 groups backed up on it. Need to space out tee times.
2) Range was closed. Yes, it rained a decent amount the day before. But to not even offer mats to warm up on is ridiculous.
Only live 7 minutes away so I'll be back at some point, but won't be in a rush to get there.

Course was in great shape. Pace was great and staff should be commended to changing to 10 minutes between tee times. It has really improved the experience and pace of play.
Tricky greens that putt true. Recommend anyone visiting Door County to play here!

I live just a few miles from this course and haven't played in a few years because of green conditions. Read some positive reviews so decided to give it another shot. All in all, course was in pretty good shape. A little dry in a few spots, but that's to be expected in Texas when with current water restrictions. Management has done a nice job of turning it around.
Hi, Btillery. Thank you so much for your feedback. We are glad you had enjoyed your time at Crystal Falls Golf Course, and pride ourselves on delivering the best experience possible.
We hope to see you again soon!
Roy Kizer Golf Course
Played On 10/23/2021Disappointing
Greens were covered seemingly in sand (or being overseeded), but either way it made putting accurately an impossible adventure. Ant hills all over the course. Muddy around the greens from over-watering.
Just a disappointing day for what is typically an OK place to play. Won't be rushing back.
Teravista Golf Club
Played On 07/17/2021Pretty Solid
First time at Teravista in about 6 years. Place was in pretty good shape but 2 or 3 greens were were really bad. They placed pins in spots where the issue wasn't a real concern, but it was noticeable. Sand was not great and tough to hit cleanly out of.
Fairways were in great shape and for 90% of the round, the entire course was very good. Just a few things to clean up.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review, and we do hope you'll give us another shot soon.

Played On 05/27/2019Worth the drive
Finally made the hour long drive from Cedar Park to play here and it was totally worth it. Course is in great shape, greens roll true and fast, layout is interesting, and we played in less than four hours. Can't ask for much more. I'll be making the trip again.
Delaware Springs Golf Course

Played On 10/26/2014Consistent, Great Value
I've grown to really like Bluebonnet because it is a course where you know what you're going to get. Very nice greens, good fairways, and a <4 hour round, even on a Sunday morning.
Only portion of the course I saw an issue with were the bunkers, as I thought they could use more sand. But that's a minor complaint.
Not a very tough course (very open, little trouble), but for the value and a nice day out, I'll always recommend this place.
Delaware Springs Golf Course
Played On 8/11/2013Loved this place!
I made the 50 minute drive from Cedar Park after reading so many positive reviews and had high expectations. Boy were they met! This course is an absolute treasure and a bargain for the prices they charge. The course is challenging enough to be tough if you go wayward, but also has wide fairways and not too thick rough which makes it fun. There are many opportunities for birdie and par, but the greens are tricky and fast so it's never easy. Also, the greens are just as smooth as can be.
I happened to play with a couple of low handicap golfers who were there for the first time also. They could not stop raving about the course setup and how well the design was thought out, especially since they were playing from the tips (I played from the blues). Will absolutely be making this trip again!
Forest Creek Golf Club
Played On 8/10/2013Nice course
First time I've played here. Really nice layout, but definitely not a course for a long hitter. It's target golf.
Course was in very good shape with only a couple of rough spots on two greens (9 & either 13 or 14, can't remember). Greens were FAST and the cup placements were often on ridges, which I thought was a bit unfair. Fairways and rough were in excellent condition. Would play here again in a heartbeat if another good deal comes up.
Legacy Hills Golf Club
Played On 4/27/2013Good course
I got to play this course on a "Hot Deal" and really enjoyed it for the price I paid. The fairways have some run in them but aren't rock hard either. Greens were consistent and putted well. Staff was extremely friendly and I would definitely go back.
My only complaint would be allowing the group in front of us to blast loud rap music out of their cart. They were part of a scramble tournament being played at the same time I was out there. It's cool to have fun, but I could literally hear it 250 yards away. I pay to get away from loud noises on a golf course, not near them.
Btillery, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Crystal Falls Golf Course.
