The pace was the worst I've ever played. This group in front of us literally took 30 minutes on the 9th green, and the ranger came up to us and said just play the hole over? No kick them off the course. Even the entire course being punched didn't bother me as much as the inconsiderate group ahead of us.

Hello and Thank You for playing and taking the time to review Ventura CC! The group you are referring to were new players and we worked with them from the time they arrived. It is unfortunate that your group was held up. The slow group only played 9 holes and I hope they take up the game after some instruction. As for the aeration, we advertised that the work had been done and as you know it is a necessary evil. The course is in great condition and we hope to see you again soon!
