This has never been one of my favorites but location and price for the day made it our best option. Greens were relatively slow compared to other courses in the area - maybe about a 7 - but inconsistent and that’s what really counts. Fairways were ok but some of the tee boxes needed a lot of work.

It fit the bill for getting out for a round but the experience today doesn’t have me rushing back anytime soon.

A nice change from the flat courses all over town. The hills aren’t that hidden. It’s a fun layout and conditions are usually better than average.

Other than the cart paths, the course is in very good shape for the price. It’s a central meeting point for my son coming from UCF, myself coming from Jacksonville, and a buddy coming from Titusville.

Great course - I’d definitely play it more if it were closer to home. Greens are some of my favorite in town. Fast, but not too fast.

Love this course as a great change of pace from all the flat courses in town. This hidden gem is a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. The hills add so much character to the layout and conditions are normally above average.

Maybe 10 cars all day in the parking lot. This place used to be full on weekends. No maintenance being done on anything - rough, “fairways,” “greens,” nor bunkers. Even the outer course was miserable.

I’ve been playing this course for a 20+ years. While it has gone thru some changes - including management companies - it’s a course you can rely on for a good experience.

My only complaint is that their system doesn’t always sync with GolfNow. One time we came and the tee time was double booked. They got us out but it’s a little annoying. Today our time was confirmed with an email and when we arrived, our time had been pushed back one slot. It’s not the end of the world but this is the only course I’ve ever had “issues” with syncing to GolfNow.

This is a premium course that is well maintained and managed. Conditions are always good and even after the greens were sanded and aerated less than 2 weeks ago, they still roll better than half the courses in Jax.

My only complaint today was we had the 1st tee time today and apparently they start on front and back on the weekends. It wasn’t like this in the past but I guess they’ve made changes. We blazed the front 9 in under 100 minutes - we’re average golfers at best - and when we were ready to make the turn we had to wait for 2 groups to tee off. If would have been 3 but a group didn’t show up. Talk about a buzzkill. Our rhythm was completely thrown off on the back 9 with the slow pace. Our total time for the round ended up being close to 4:15. Not bad for a Saturday except 65% of that time was on 9 holes.

Plan accordingly. Still a great track and great service. I understand the money grab with the storms in the summer afternoons.

This place is fine if you start before 9am. They schedule tee times every 7 minutes and although they constantly back up, they don't adjust - that interval is just not realistic for the average golfers out there.

If you start after noon, count on starting late and even possibly waiting for a cart from someone that teed off in the morning. Once, I waited 30 minutes after my scheduled tee time to get a cart.

The place is in decent shape most of the time and they have great deals. Just know what you are getting into with those great deals - especially in the afternoon.
