I played this course a few times over the pat six or seven years and had been disappointed with course conditions. today I found all aspects of the course to be in excellent condition and will be returning to play again very soon.

Pace of play is always great at Monarch. The greens are consistently well maintained and fast.
Arlington Ridge Golf Club

Our foursome enjoyed the great conditions to go along with the beautiful weather. Very fast greens and fairway over seeding made for great conditions on all fairways.
My rating of staff friendliness is meant to be directed at one individual. The elderly male in the pro shop collecting our money is grumpy and quite rude. Sometimes a younger man works the desk and he is friendly as can be.
We had a rate of $29 + tax which made payment due at 31.03. One in the group was paying cashed and spotted .03 in a change dish, he asked if he could use it with his $31 and the guy said NO quickly removing the .03...tell me that wasn't a bit weird.

Close to an hour drive but the spectacular views make it worthwhile. I would like to see an extra tee box added that would total about 4500-4600 yards as the 5000+ red tees are a little too challenging for 70+ females.

Course conditions were very good with fast greens. It would be nice to see a fourth set of tees added as now the senior(gold) are the same position as the ladies(red)
