Excellent Course, BIG TIME FEEL.

First, the staff was absolutely amazing! John in the pro shop was absolutely fantastic, he not only gave me precise directions around the property, he sent me out at the perfect time. You really have to understand the groove of the day to pull that off, he nailed it. Well done John!

Jon, cart guy was a lot of fun, and genuinely showed me the hospitality you would expect down south. I caught him at the end of his shift, so he was able to show me around the course. Which I appreciated, it almost felt as if I had my own personal caddie. I played really well, on a challenging Fazio course that I don't think I would have enjoyed without Jon's directions. Thanks a lot Jon, you were first-class man (special thanks to the leadership for allowing this to enhance your patrons experience.)

As far as the amenities, the driving range lives at the far end of the property, the balls are dispensed by a machine. Leave your driver in the bag along long woods. The range is maybe 215 yards long, it finesse driven situated on a island, very unique.

The course is awesome, tee boxes were perfectly cut, fairways were rolling evenly hardly any rough, and the greens were quick but very smooth. The back nine really challenges your shot making skills, considering how many par 3s the Harbor Course has. Par 5s for long hitters present a well of eagle and birdie opportunities.

I had a great time at Wild Dunes. My only draw back at Wild Dunes Harbor Course was a grounds-man by the name of Greg, very rude and abrasive disposition. Very rude to me and had negative things to say about the pro-shop. Which was funny because everyone I came in touch with were PHENOMINAL! Particularly the pro-shop guys.

I'll definitely put this course on my list, and recommend to everyone that can appreciate the level of Wild Dunes. Keep up the good work guys!

MetroWest has something special going on!

This course is making a strong comeback if the new management keeps this progress going. Great views, layout, and greens were surprisingly in really good shape in lieu of the Central Florida drought.

Theirs a gentleman by the name of Mr. Chappell, Director of Operation at MetroWest GC. This gentleman pretty much shaped my experience. I will return because he set the tone for MetroWest GC, very hospitable made me feel as if was a local. I hope this company continues to make him a asset.

He was spot on about hole 13, being able to see downtown ORL, I took a couple minutes to take it all in, then proceeded to par the par 4 dog leg right.

This course is a must, great location, great people, and fantastic course layout!

Keep up the good work MetroWest GC, and thank you Mr. Chappell for the being a true professional.

Ideal for residents, not for avid golfers looking to experience a new course. .

The older gentlemen in the pro shop was very, very rude to me. Before I could say hello, he was quick to tell me that anyone not playing but wants to ride has to pay $8. (Huh?). So if your looking to play this course with your wife, or children be prepared to navigate extra funds. Seriously, I don't consider myself picky when it comes to where I play golf, but this course is ridiculous. I honestly felt as if someone had an extra 45 acres behind their house and decided to try and make some money by putting some greens on it. There is no difference between the fairway and rough (the entire course looks the same besides the greens). There are no obstacles outside of plants, with only a handful of very small sand bunkers. Cart paths would randomly disappear, leaving you to drive wherever you want. On most of the greens, any putts over about 5 feet and you can see your ball bounce. This course may be worth it if it only cost a dollar a hole to play, but I feel like I can go to WAY better courses for the same price, and much closer to Raleigh.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed playing Neuse Golf Links.

The scenic views, challenging pin locations, and the friendly staff was extremely refreshing to me.
