Chicopee Woods Golf Course - Village Nine

For a course owned by the City of Gainesville definitely worth playing. Growing up on Municipal Courses they normally weren’t in the best condition. This course put that philosophy to rest. Great practice facility, great greens and friendly staff. If in the Gainesville area a must play.

I played in the late Spring and the course was struggling. With the new Superintendent on bard you can see a drastic change in the course conditions. The greens actually had grass on them and rolled very well. Other changes are also on the way for the betterment of the course and the overall conditions. Can’t wait until Spring arrives To see how the course has blossomed.

I played in March of 2019 and the greens and fairways where struggling. Under the direction of the new Superintendent from the now closed Lanier Golf Club the course has significantly improved there greens and fairways. I look forward to what 2020 will bring to Sugar Hill GC as you can see it’s back to being one of the top rated value courses in the area.

Fairways of Canton Golf Club

A course where accuracy is a premium, can tee off with a 3 wood or hybrid on most holes. Greens always in great shape and rough always up, can score from fairways don't need to try and over power course.
