Cypresswood Golf & Country Club
Played On 04/26/2020Aim for the rough.
They are renovating the greens so I will notmention those. I did however spend most of my day aiming for the rough. The fairways are as hard as stone and mostly bare at the standard distances from the whites. They are not reseeding those locations.
Additionally there is no course martial to maintain peace of play. 5 and a half hours to finish a round. Entire side was stacked up six groups deep behind children playing with their parents. Most importantly not allowing others to play through and with no course martial. There are many other more well maintained courses in the area for the same money.

South Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/02/2018Awesome course.......
First, I loved this course. Great layout, well maintained, and clearly professionally managed. If I had to say anything negative at all it would be that I felt I needed a tetanus shot just sitting in the cart. Very old, haul butt though. Pace was a little slow but kept moving.

This is a great course for this area. The staff is always friendly and the grounds crew is always active on the course. The course conditions are excellent for the value vs. money. Great par 72 course will continue to visit.

Played On 06/06/2018Course improved, staff not so much.
I waited about six months to write this review. The course has dramatically improved over the last two years in quality, however, the staff and grounds crews are not interested in you actually playing golf. The grounds crew actually mowed around me during my round without clearing the fairway so that I could continue my round. The next four holes had grounds crew members mowing and doing various maintenance which is nice because they are maintaining the course. The grounds crew will not give way to players and you will end up skipping multiple holes just because they simply will not move. The staff has work to do and you are in their way. I only completed the front 9 holes after paying for 18 of which I only actually played 4 holes after an hour and a half of dodging employees. Left without asking for a refund, have not, will not, and will never return. There are simply too many courses out there in the same area for the same money that I can actually play all 18 holes. On a side note this was not my only round there, this is the norm which is why I have chosen to never return.
Deer Creek RV Golf & Country Club
Played On 12/20/2017Great short executive course. Cash only bar outside for after your round but no ATM, bad planning there. Quick friendly place to play.
