The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club
Played On 06/07/2021one of my faves
The Preserve is in great shape. Small complaints about sand in the bunkers and ambiguous location of drop zones for those us (me) who need to use them.

The Lake course is in great shape although a little rain would help. Played as a single mid-dayand didn't wait a second!

Played On 08/18/2020Very nice course
Fairways, greens and tees are in fine shape, but recent storms wreaked havoc on unpaved cart paths (and there are many of them!) Once you figure out how to navigate the peaks, valleys and ruts you're in for good time. Definitely not one of those frou-frou Sandhills outfits, just a nice course with nice folks.

Wildwood Green Golf Course
Played On 04/22/2020Gòod pre summer time!
Challenging but not impossible layout...greens lightning fast, so bring your gentle touch. Of course the fairways will benefit from warmer weather growth but overall a very enjoyable round. Course compensating nicely to COVID life
The Challenge Golf Club
Played On 03/30/2020Nice course!
Glad I decided to try this even though it's a 45-60 minute drive. It's an interesting but not impossible layout...went as a single hooked up with another player on the first tee. Another group let us play through and we made it around in 3 1/2 hours!
The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge
Played On 09/24/2018Nice course, only a few gripes
This is a scenic layout with great fairway conditions. Bent grass greens are weedy in spots and need some work. The biggest problems are the bunkers. There's hardly any sand in them after the very wet (Tropical Storm Florence) spell of weather. And there are drainage issues in them anyway.
Plays long from the blue tees,..I should have opted for the white tees, but what the heck!
I really like this course.

Fun layout, course is in good condition and pace of play was fine and got a great rate on Golf Now!
The Club at Osprey Cove
Played On 03/23/2018Wide open challenge
No tree trouble to be found here, but there's plenty of length to make for a nice challenge. Staff cautioned that new greens are still very hard, and they're right, they won't really hold a pitch.but they putt beautifully! Also enjoyed watch ospreys land in their nest.
The Amelia River Club
Played On 03/21/2018Very nice course
Played on a very blustery day which made scoring very hard. But i had a fine experience. White tees made the length manageable for this 20 handicapper, and the free layout map was very helpful. Greens very fast and putts rolled smoothly and true. Good value with Hot Deal.

Played On 10/26/2017Beutiful layout
A challenging course withexcellentgreens. My only gripe is with the tee boxes...they were pretty scraggly!
Nags Head Golf Links
Played On 07/26/2017Great course
The course is spectacularly scenic. Greens are fairly fast but very soft so they really grab pitches. Some fairways have casual water thanks to lots of recentrain and the natural deainage issues of the Outer Banks, but they have pumps working to reduce the ponding. 90 degree rule all over the course slows play., again thanks to recent rain.
But pace is more affected by how tight and tough this course is. Lots of time lost looking in thick rough.
One of the best and most challenging courses I've played. Highly recommend it...but bring your accurate (not necessarily long) clubs and/or lots of golf balls!
Eagle Ridge Golf Club
Played On 05/16/2017Fun, target golf
Tee boxes are thin and there are a few rough spots on the greens and fairways, but overall the course is rounding into good shape. (There is a temporary green on #10.)
This course requires thought about placement on the fairways--you just can't bomb every shot!
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
UNC Finley Golf Course
Played On 05/02/2017Another fine experience!
Course is challenging, but impossible. And it's in beautiful shape. Maybe my favorite course in the Triangle!
The Neuse Golf Club
Played On 03/29/2017Excellent course
My only beef was lack of guidance...Map of course, yardage markers. Lots of nearly blind shots, surprise hazard locations, etc. Not having GPS puts you at distinct disadvantage. Otherwise great, challenging round!
The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge
Played On 09/20/2016Great round
Very scenic track. Greens struggling in few spots with some crab grass invaders, but held beautifully.
Raleigh Golf Association
Played On 08/31/2016Good for the price
Greens are suffering greatly from the heat, but lots of watering has made them soft. Fairways in good shape considering.
Front 9 very short and easy, challenge rises after you make a very perilous crossing of busy Tryon Rd.
Pace of play on a Wednesday was great...and that made it a very enjoyable round...espcially when you figure in the GolfNow rate.
Hi "charlienorton " Thank you for your honest feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We hope that after the heat is gone that you will give us another try in the near future.
Crossings at Grove Park, The
Played On 10/22/2015Great value
Walked the course on a Thursday with very few others on the course. Back 9 a good challenge for this very average golfer. Biggest beef is lack of yardage markers and card could be clearer about distances to hazards. A fabulous value with my internet discounted green fee.
Hello and thank you for your 5-star rating! We're delighted you enjoyed your round. Please book another round with us soon, and thanks for choosing River Ridge Golf Club!
