Tidewater Golf Club
Played On 12/13/2019Tidewater great conditions and design
The course has some of the best views on the strand, The green complexes are challenging with a premium placed on being on the correct side of the pin. Condition is always good to great. An enjoyable course to play with an excellent 19th hole to relive your round.
Meadowlands Golf Course
Played On 08/08/2016Worth seeking out
Meadowlands is not one of the highly advertised courses in the Myrtle Beach area, but is one of the nicer experiences. It has a variety of holes requiring different shots to play well. The greens were smooth and true with enough slopes and grain to challenge the putting. The people are just plain nice and friendly, not driven to force the most people possible onto the course. When visiting the area consider a visit to Meadowlands,
The Timbers at Troy
Played On 04/08/2016Varying holes
Very nice layout with interesting holes. The greens were aerated with lots of holes, most filled with sand. It would have been nice to know the greens were aerated before we played. The weather was cold in the 40s with 15-20 mph winds. I will play this again when it is warmer and the greens are healed. There are a few holes where course knowledge will be helpful in where to play the ball.
P.B. Dye Golf Club
Played On 10/15/2013Great Greens, Course knowledge is a plus
The course has several blind tee shots and the greens are tricky. You need to play this course a few times to truly appreciate and play it well.
Lake Presidential Golf Club
Played On 9/27/2013Good layout, demanding course, good shots are required
There was a lot of divots in the fairways, the fairways were very damp and soft, not sure if you blame the course or the players for not fixing the divots. Course knowledge definitely helps, there are some places you just don't want to be. Green speed were above average, but not unplayable, much better than the bang and hope so many courses have at this time of year.
