Have played this course several times over the years and it never disappoints. Fun layout. Lots of water. Several choices of tees for all ages. Course was in great shape except for the greens that were a little slow due to recent aeration.

Love this course! Beautiful. Challenging. Very Playable. The zoysia fairways and collars are like playing off your Living Room carpet. The greens roll true but are large with a lot of character. Best course in town!

Fairways were a little sketchy due to some winter kill, but they are being sodded with zoysia and it should be back to its normal beautiful self in the next few weeks. The greens are perfect so the course is still very playable with a free drop or two from the new sod. So, Shoal Creek is still my favorite course in Kansas City.

Just heard that they are bulldozing this course on May 5th. A real shame! Played this course every year when we have come down for spring break. Great Pete Dye Track! Will be missed!

Shoal Creek has long been my favorite course in Kansas City but with the new zoysia collars and late summer rain, it is in GREAT condition this fall!

Fairways and greens were both thin, but playable. Nothing special about the layout except for the million dollar homes that overlook the 9th fairway. So, was just ok ... especially for $80.

Had a very enjoyable round on this course despite the fact that it didn’t have any holes that you say WOW when you play them like some Phoenix area courses. But, it didn’t cost as much to play this course, either. I will definitely play again because it is a good course that is in good shape and is managed well.

Course has always been a fun layout and now it is in first class shape since they stripped in zoysia fairways a couple of years ago. Had a great time on a very playable course that is in great shape!

Love the elevation changes on this course. And was in great shape, per usual. Had a great time on a perfect Fall day!

Great lay-out. Perfect greens. The rest was not as well kept as the top courses in Phx...but they don't charge top $, either. The only real disappointing feature is the crummy range. They either need to go to real turf or mats. That, and you can't tell how far you hit the ball because the targets are hard to see from the tee area. Was hard to believe that this was a Karsten facility.

There was more bare spots/sand than grass on most of the greens. 18 was in good shape because that's the green you see as you drive up. Had to roll the ball in most of the fairways to find a grassy lie. Have played it every year, but may have to take it out of the rotation next Spring Break. Just too rough to be fun..even for the "more affordable" greens fee.
