Sleepy Hole Golf Course
Played On 09/17/2022Sleepy Hole, nothing sleepy about it
It was the week-end and the course was full so a 4hr round took 5hours. No worries, had good friends to play with. course is is better than good shape greens for the most part are in very good shape. fairways have grass but since we have had no rain in the last few weeks they are hard but that allows better ball roll. Never disappointed playing this course. JT always makes sure players are off the tee in a timely manner even when running behind.

Did not know what to expect and was given a very enjoyable round of golf. Par 5's reachable from the whites in two for the 250 plus off the tee players. two par 4's reachable in one for the same guys, but requires some skilled shots. Played safe on one and got a 6 went for it on another and parred. Was about 10 yds from the green. Fairways roll. Greens were firm but well executed shots stuck. A little quick but rolled relatively true. First timers will need the yardage book since there is trouble off the tee that cannot be seen from the tee.

I always play well at this course. There was a major rainstorm a few nights before I played and it was cart path only. But for the most part the course was in good shape. The greens were in excellent shape, putt true and relatively fast. Fairways were plush, but mostly running Bermuda grass. There are two par fives that can be reached in two. Par 70 course with some tricky par threes to make up for the short par 5s. For those who have never played this course, #9 is not at the clubhouse #12 is. Due to the two separate land owners at the time the course was designed.

Sleepy Hole Golf Course
Played On 1/11/2013Former LPGA site, could be again.
For $17.50 with cart you couldn't go wrong. Thee greens were immaculate the fairways are bermuda but since we have not had any really cold weather they were still a little green and plush. Have not played the course since 1990 and this was a great refresher. Will come back.

Played On 12/14/2012Tee's and fairways had just been verticut and aerated.
The course has it difficult areas, stray right or left and you are in some very thick Bermuda rough I call ruff ruff, since you hit it like a dog trying to get out of it. The greens were in excellent shape the fairways had just been mowed and verticut. The tee's had just been punched. I really don't like playing this course, because I have trouble staying out of trouble, but then again this is not the courses fault. It does have some holes that can be reach in 2 on par 5's. Just requires a long drive and a precise 2nd shot. The carts are gas which makes it hard to hear someone yelling FORE!! As the ball bounced off my front window and scared the He// out of me. I would not play the course at full price (around $45-$55). The $22 I paid was worth it to play an in shape course while knowing I was in for some abuse.
