50 degrees and sunny in Chicago on December 9 what's not to love. First time here but def not last time. I'm sure it's a beautiful 9 in the summer!

Used to come here when I first started playing golf 20 years ago and came back to take my dad for his birthday round. It was nice then and still remains nice. The course was in fine shape and greens were rolling nice but not impossible fast. there's some water but overall is an easier course with wide fairways so you can almost always find your ball. I usually shoot low 90s and that's what happened here. 92 and a great round with dad.

I enjoy links golf so was looking forward to playing here for the first time. Overall was a positive experience. Layout and conditions were great and the $65 I paid was market value for what I experienced. Electric carts were a plus and the bartenders and staff were great. Always helps the review when you shoot your best round of the year! I'll def be back.

I brought my 2 bro in laws here because I know this course doesn't get a lot of play and as new golfers, they wouldn't feel the pressure from golfers behind us. It won't be long before KC is busy again. The conditions were consistently nice and it's a great value in the Wheaton area. The only negative is the bunker conditions. They all need some attention but if you rake and place, it's fine. The outdoor bar has so much potential yet it remains empty. This is a great place to go with new golfers and/or if you need a tee time last minute. It's a challenging course and I'll be back again.

My dad and I played this course on our last day of our short trip and ended up getting paired with a member. I won't go into my opinion of this guy but would've enjoyed the round more without him there. The course was very nice and the greens were rolling 11-12 (as per staff) so was a fun challenge...learned real quick that it doesn't break as much as you think. It's the Ritz so everything was high end and on par with expectations. We ended up getting it "cheap" at $85, which was a good value, but would never pay $175, which seemed to be the most common rate for January. I have no prob paying $150+ to golf, just not here. Fairly tight course, bunkers were beautiful and the greens were in great shape. It's carved out of the swamp so lot of wildlife. So many courses in the area so don't know if I'd play this again unless the $85 was available and had no other options. If you haven't played it, it's worth the $85....$100 max. 19th hole was nice, but nothing on the menu grabbed us so we just had a drink.

This has always been my favorite course. It's close to my house and it's beautiful. Condition was excellent. Excited to see that they plan on doing some landscaping around each ball washer...I noticed some spray painting on the ground that eluded to that. I took my dad for his bday and as a twosome in between a 4some and 3some, pace of play was great. 4 hours exact. They are known for this which is a reason I chose to play here...because of a previous commitment after the round. Excellent shape, greens are fab, and bunkers were pristine soft sand. Can't wait to come back.

Took my dad for early father's day and was paired up with a couple good guys. The course was in really nice shape, much better than last year. The greens were rolling slower than expected for the reputation I remember RF had, but greens were in nice shape overall. Some bunkers were nice and some were brutal but lots of rain lately so prob hard to keep up. I was hoping to shoot around 90 but shot a 94 after a 10 on 18, ouch. Thanks Tin Cup for inspiring me not to take a drop! Need more TVs in the bar. I'd play here again.

Every time I've played this course, I knew what to expect as far as course quality...after all the rack rate is $100+. Something has happened between the last time I played here 2 years ago and this past Friday. The bunkers, which are an important feature of any links style course, were unkept, eroded, and had weeds in them. And the greens which are usually fast and smooth, weren't. We paid $63 golfnow price but a buddy met up with us on the back and paid $57 for 9 holes with cart! It's prob worth 63 for 18 but not a penny more. I'll consider other options in the future.

Played South and East and was in best condition that I've ever seen it. Greens rolling quick and true, bunkers in good shape (take it from me, I was in em), and the fairways were clean and tight. I played here because Cantigny was booked and it was half the money for prob the same condition, so I was very happy. I'll be back soon!
