Plantation Resort Golf Club

I’ve played Plantation many times since moving to Frisco 5 years ago and even send my kids to golf camp here during the summer. This was BY FAR the worst I’ve ever seen it. The layout still remains nice and tight but everything else was a disaster.
Greens not good - hard, bumpy, sandy.
Fairways a disaster - hard and fast, you are straight up hitting off deadpan. There are many precise shots where a creek is at 225 or 250 and the ball would just roll into the creek from a simple 6 iron.
No cart service.
No bathrooms - had to use the port a potty.
All this fun cost $135 for 2….
I would stay far away until they figure this out.
Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course

Pace was atrocious. 18 holes in a cool 5 hours and 30 minutes due to some poor playing ahead of us plus the course sending people off every 8 minutes. Multiple times we were backed up 10-15 minutes waiting to tee off. Did I mention it was 105 degrees?
Aside from that, course is in okay shape. Definitely used a lot but greens rolled pretty good.
I did enjoy the little outside bar they’ve set up since Covid. Hope they keep that - definitely was a plus over the old bar are inside.
