The course was visibly scarred by the wet spring Toledo endured. The greens were much slower than I years past. Staff did not direct us to proper starting tee box (playing off the back 9 that day). Great value, but the course has had better days.

Greens are in great shape. Staff went out of their way to be friendly. Drought has robbed the rough as a penalty. Good scores are waiting for anyone that plays the North Course.

The layout was impeccable. Winding through large home community and woods. You travel quite a bit on residential roads. And of course there is the infamous five minute cart ride to number 13. The greens were in great shape, rolled and true, but hard. Hit one shot into a par three and the ball bounced higher than the flagstick. Played early on a Tuesday morning. Staff was a bit frenzied with a large group coming in later that morning. I was speaking with some other golfers near the first tee and an employee yelled at us for trying to go out as a 3-some (which we were not). The course had some fairway scars in the landing zones and burned out sections along some of the fairways. I would play it again if I lived in the Brighton area, but not sure I would do the 1 1/2 hr drive to play there again.

Played early the day after a rain and the greens were FAST and true. Front nine gives you plenty of chances to swing by the clubhouse. The boardwalks on the back nine over the marshes made for a scenic 2nd nine. A few blind shots and extra course knowledge would be helpful. Score card had good descriptive pictures to help. If you hit the ball long play from the back tees. Played the blues and was driver wedge on all par 4's. If you book on GOLF NOW show up for your tee time you booked, very strict on not letting you out early.

Over an inch of rain the day before and the greens were fast and true. Course needs more signage on cart path for next holes. Info on water hazards and distance to creek on a few holes would have been helpful.

Great course. Layout is picturesque. Greens and fairways in excellent conditions. Well worth the hour it took us to get to course!

Great for a quick tune up. Greens and areas around greens are fantastic.
