Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
Played On 11/04/2023In Decline
I've played this course at least a couple of dozen times, and i'm sad to say that it seems to be on its way out. The entire course is now in very bad condition, especially the greens; more of a goat ramchh than a golf course. The tea box markers were inconsistent and often missing. On multiple holes there were running sprinklers in the fairway, which made it interesting to try and dodge getting soaked while being able to play your ball.
Rude Marshall
One Bad Apple can spoil the whole bunch. The Marshall was exceedingly rude. He came up to my group in the clubhouse 30 minutes after our round was complete to criticize our pace of play.. We finished in under four and a half hours with two rain delays. To be fair, the rest of the staff were quite friendly and accommodating. Nevertheless, this will be the last time I visit Santa Rosa Golf Club. Even if we took 6 hours to play, no Marshall should ever treat players like that.

We were approached by Marshalls 3 times to play faster. We were behind the pace of play the first time, but were ahead of the 4-Hour pace as shown on the cart computer the next two times. Furthermore, the last two times the group behind us was not caught up. if I go to a restaurant I should not be asked to chew faster simply because that restaurant overbooked their reservations after my meal began. Very disappointed that staff ruined a good course.
Club at Hidden Creek, The
Played On 06/18/2016Good value
Course was is very good condition, besides being a bit soogy. There's some absurdity to that because many sprinklers were blasting the whole time. They were facing out of play, but saturating the ground. Apparently the water company owns Hidden Creek and must be padding their numbers by wasting extreme amounts of water. Still and enjoyable experience and we'll worth the cost.
