Course was in good shape. Fun layout. Driving range was reduced to small area with no grass. This is temporary but frustrating. Pace of play slow. Our group of 4 waited on almost every shot. 4:45 to play.

Fairways in good shape. Greens had been sanded, but good except for that. Bunkers have been new sand and in good shape. Wide Fairways, big greens. Fun with some challenging holes.

Course was in excellent shape. Greens not as fast as usual. Windy so it played tough.

Couse was in good shape. A few greens had some sand on edges for repair but overall good. Fairways excellent. Fun layout, mostly wide Fairways and large greens. They have improved the Course the last couple of years. Will be back.

They ran out of carts. Had to wait 30 min past our tee time to get a cart. This is not the first time this had happened. The cart I got had a bad bearing and a badly worn tire.

Now the good stuff. Course was in excellent shape, except for the bunkers. Putting water on them made them hard and unpredictable. Greens rolled great. The lack of carts and college teams playing took away from a very nice course. Over 5 hours.

Ran out of carts, employee said they had booked 500 rounds for the two courses. Only 189 carts. Did not have to wait past our tee time for a cart but had to walk to driving range which is 250 to 300 yards away. Sand traps had fluffy sand for about 2 inches then hard pan under. Greens and Fairways were excellent, best around. Good layout tough but fair. Wind makes holes into the wind play very difficult.

Did not play here last year because of poor Fairways. Heard Fairways were improved so went to check it out. Yes, Fairways much better, the best I have seen in several years. Greens have been very good for several years. Open curse that is challenging because of the green complexes. Greens firm and medium fast. Only negative is pace of play. I think they send groups off too close together. Had 4 groups on 15. About 4:45 to complete round. Still, fun track.

Fairways very little grass. Tee boxes not good. Greens had some kill in places. Layout was challenging. However, there were several holes you could not hit driver because you would run through the fairway. Target golf forcing you to hit shorter tee shots making shots nto the greens longer. Not my cup of tea. Course could be very good if they put some money into it.

Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Greens firm and fast. Pace of play was better than usual. Bermuda had gone dormant with the cold weather but played fine. Course has a very nice practice area.

Unlike many courses around Daytona in the winter this course actually has grass so very nice to hit off of on the fairways and around the greens. Greens were slower than some other courses but in good shape. Nice mixture of easy and difficult holes.

Horse was in good condition. More grass in the Fairway than many surrounding courses. Greens were good but there were a few spots on a few grains that were not grown in completely. Greens were medium speed. Fairways were somewhat soft I believe they've been watering the course pretty readily. Good combination of easy and difficult holes..

No water on the course and the snack shop at the turn was closed no way to get anything to drink. Did not see the cart girl on the back nine. Course was in good shape couple of greens has some sand on them. High handicappers probably need to play The Jones course not the Hills

Course was in good condition as usual. Fairways here are better than any other course around. Since they redid their greens a frw years ago they are excellent firm and fast. They will hold a full shot.

Fairways and tee boxes have very little grass. Areas around the green So tight you could putt from 30 to 40 yards off the green. So the conditions were not ideal very tight everywhere with very little grass. With that being said the layout is good, some very tough tea shots greens are challenging they were in good shape. Would definitely be a four-star to four 1/2 star if the grass was in better shape.

Course was in very good shape . Greens were excellent. Putted quick and true. It was a tough day 20 plus mile an hour winds but the course was really fun to play Yeah. Pretty open in most places There are places to miss off the tee.

I have played Venetian Bay several times over the years and it may be the best condition I have seen it. The greens are excellent receptive but fast Fairways very good the only downside I saw was some tee boxes were a little sparse and some of the outer edges grass was a little bit sparse. Really fun course to play wide Fairways big greens very enjoyable.

I have played Venetian Bay several times in the past. It has an up-and-down history of playing conditions. I played two years ago and the course was not in a good shape. However, that has changed they have a new course superintendent and he is doing an outstanding job course was in excellent shape. Staff and cart girl were very friendly.
