StoneCrest Golf Course
Played On 04/06/2018First round for 2018
I was really impressed with how great the course was for this time of the year. With all the bad weather conditions and moisture damage to much of the area this course is still a joy to play. The greens were in very nice condition and being sprayed with for the control of weeds and fertilizer.I hadn’t been able to play until today and was very pleased with the results. Playing as a single golfer, twice I was allowed to play through. This course plays long even from the gold tees, many times you can hit the driver and still need a good strong iron to make the tricky green. Good practice range and food. Overall the best course east of Lexington.
StoneCrest Golf Course

My favorite course east of Lexington. Excellent condition, with the exception of the sand bunkers which should just be filled and sod put on them. I am serious this course has fabulous greens and fairways, and either start taking better care of the bunkers or at least fill them in. Great location high in the mountains, a view of the scenic beauty of eastern Kentucky. Don't skip a chance to play here.
Windy Knoll Golf Club

Course is interesting to anyone who loves golf. It takes many types of yardage and turns into the long distance shots along water and the greens are not easy to read. You will improve your game or high score it.
StoneCrest Golf Course
Played On 08/27/2014Course under repair
The course had been hit with more than 3" of rain just 5 days ago and the sand bunkers had flooded and washed badly, they were being repaired. Fairways had been mowed wet and had grass chunks everywhere. Greens were aerated just before rain and recovering nicely. This is a breath taking course when at it's best, cart paths in bad need of repair, a long tough course with challenges at every tee. Recommend it to anyone.
Duckers Lake Golf Course
Played On 08/07/2014Elevation Changes & water
I found Duckers Lake to be a challenge, my first time there and not really knowing how the holes layout, blind shots and fast soft greens. I hope to play the course again when I can get down there again. It was the fact of not knowing the course and lack of markers to help you see the dog legs.
