Woodington Lake Golf Club - Legacy Course
Played On 06/14/2019Hidden Gem
Played the Legacy course. Greens are huge but very tough. Long bunkers/cart paths need some serious work. THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE SIGNAGE TO GET TO THE LEGACY COURSE. You can easily get lost trying to find the first tee. You can’t hit driver at the driving range. Overall it’s a nice course.
Bloomington Downs Golf Club
Played On 05/22/2019Hot deal
Driving range doesn’t open until 9:00am so if you book the early morning hot deal don’t expect to get your free bucket of balls. This is false advertising but management doesn’t seem to care and will be rude if you ask them about it.
Greens are trash. Fairways are rock hard. It’s a short course so if you are a 20 plus handicap or are just learning this is the course for you.
Bathurst Glen Golf Club
Played On 05/22/2018Don’t bother
Tee boxes are a joke. Basically like hitting off second cut from the fairways. The fairways are rock hard and or in poor shape. They seem to try and get as many people through as possible so considering it is a par 62 it would definitely get jammed up on the weekends. Didn’t see a beer cart once before, during, or after my round. There are a number of other courses around for $30-35 that I would go before Bathurst Glen.
Innisfil Creek Golf Course
Played On 10/10/2017Course is fairly short but still challenging because the water hazards or long fescue come into play on most holes. I’ve played this course 4-5 times this year and the people that and the club house are generally rude. Wouldn’t let me as a single player start even 10 minutes early. The only marshall is at the first tee. You won’t see him otherwise so pace of play can be pretty bad sometimes.
GolfNow prices aren’t to bad for the value.
THIS IS MY MISTAKE. THIS REVIEW WAS MEANT FOR BATHURST GLEN AND NOT BLOOMINGTON DOWNS.
Blooming Downs has one of the best driving ranges and practice areas in the Aurora area.
