Enjoyed my day at Victoria Lakes. Course is in decent condition, pace of play was great.
Sterling Hills Golf Club
Played On 09/24/2018Course not in great shape
Course is good value but the last few times I’ve played the fairways have been a disaster. Feels like a low end municipal course. Good news is the greens were still decent. If you play as a single they just tell you to go out and play by yourself or find a group. So all over the course you have foursomes, threesomes, twosomes, and singles which causes pace of play issues. It’s a shame because this used to feel like a high end course.
Los Robles Greens Golf Course
Played On 02/24/2017Very long day
I grew up playing this course but stopped playing years ago because it took to long to get through a round. I found a "Hot Deal" through the website so decided to play. I checked in as a single 20 mins before my 10:48 tee time. I was informed they were runnning 20 mins late. I got off with another twosome sandwiched between a foursome and twosome around 11:10. We waited on every hole and at 3:30 we had played through 12 holes. I left. Tee times are 6 mins apart so it's a typical muni course that tries to get as many people ($$$$) through the course on any given day. Will not play again.
Lost Canyons Golf Club - Shadow Course
Played On 04/26/2013Shadow Course needs some work
Great value for the course. Only paid $19 to play the shorter unkept course at Lost Cyn. Good news is that during the week you can usually play in 3 hours. This used to be one of the great golf locations in SoCal. Unfortunately they have not maintained it. The fairways and tee boxes are short but weedy. The greens are still relatively nice. I wouldn't pay more than $25 to play this one.
