This is an old-school course it’s always in wonderful condition from the tee to the green, great fairways, solid, consistent greens. They let the rough get long enough so it penalizes you for missing the greens or Fairway just all in all a great course. The only negative would be the range is a short range, which means irons only.

This is one of my favorite coursed in the area because of the great course conditions and the friendly staff. From the moment you pull up the take care of you till the bring your car around and it time to go. The only thing lacking at this course if full length practice range. There have been some changes to the course layout but it is really shaping up nicely. The 18 will be much better when the further green is completed but no complaints from me on a day were I Eagled the short 268 par 4 as it currently plays. Green ran true and swift, fairways were perfect as always, and of course the staff was great as always.

Lake Tansi is always well taken care of. This course, because they over seed) will be green in March when others are still dormant. I did notice about 13 of the 18 greens appeared to be a bit slower but this was probably mostly to guard them from the summer heat.

Great fairways, tee boxes, and greens rolled true even if they were a little slow. Unfortunately this Course's biggest problem is keeping up fairway bunkers. I am afraid like many courses in the area, the underestimated what it took to properly keep up so many bunkers especially on a course with this much elevation change from tee to green. Staff was great and other than being behind a slow twosome who obviously didn’t know the concept of letting faster players go through, it was a great day on a good course.

This course is quite challenging and your approach shot is crucial on pretty much every hole. Greens roll true and the fairways are always in great condition and the ball sits up great on the zoysia grass. Staff is great here as well.

We played here and had a great round with perfect conditions. The pace was well maintained and the course conditions were near perfect.

Great course overall and the conditions were really good. Our groups biggest issue was that the found "New Friends" when we made the turn. All of the sudden we saw three new foursomes that we hadn't even seen on the front nine. Play was considerably slower for the back nine with the group often watching the previous group putt out before teeing off on the hole in front of them. They even joined up playing the last couple holes as an 8some and a 4some. I am not sure who was to blame but we never saw a players assistant/ranger one the course.

This is a great course with some challenging approach shots. The zoysia grass fairways make this course a great play not matter if it’s summer or winter and dormant.

I love playing this course because the staff is always friendly and the course is always in great shape from tee to green. The staff here takes pride in making even the little things at the course look great and it shows.

Really love playing this course. It really has a beautiful secluded feel. From the Range to the 18th Green, the course was in great shape (with the exception of 4-5 bunkers but the area had just had a lot of rain fall). We were the second group to go off and we were a twosome. We finished our round in 3 hours 15 minutes.

We took advantage of a Noon "Hot Deal" and it was wonderful. As a group of 3 we never ran into anyone, and we never saw the group behind us again after leaving the first fairway. The weather was perfect and the course played very true.

This is a wonderful course and property. The staff is very friendly and will take care of everything for you. From the valet to the ice towels they have everything covered. The greens had been punched a couple weeks before I played but they still rolled very well. I will make the Waldorf a constant when choosing my Orlando golf outings.

Let me start by saying this is a wonderful course to look at and to play, if no one else is there. However with this being a convention center golf course the pace of play is really bad here. As long as you know that before you go and expect it then you should be fine. I've started 3 rounds here in the past 8 months when in Orlando and I have only been able to finish 1 of those rounds. Also the course apparently doesn't drain well because it rained on a Thursday and I played around lunch on a Saturday and it was still cart path only. I was paired with another person making a twosome then a threesome was leapfrogged over us to tee off in the exact time i had payed for, with this paired with cart path only we played 9 holes at a slower than normal rate especially for a twosome. At the turn the starter told us a storm was coming and going to be there awhile, but we played 10 anyway. They sounded the horns to suspend play and we made our way back to the club house. With just over 3 hours spend and only 10 holes played and play presently suspended due to lightning I decided to call it a day. I called golfnow to go through the partial raincheck procedure since it was a "hot deal" and they called the course to confirm the weather. The guy on the phone told them it wasn't that bad and they would resume play later. "LATER?" If the storm only took an hour to move through that would put the pace at 7 hours. Who has 7 hours to play a round of golf while on vacation with their family. Luckily the person from golfnow knew from talking to me that I wasn't trying to be dishonest and gave me a partial credit to be used towards another round within 14 days. I love the course layout and condition I just wish they would use their rangers and keep pace of play to at least 4 1/2 or better.

We have played here twice and both times the staff was great and the course was in great shape (except for a about 10% of the bunkers). The only problem we had this time was with the pace of play. We were playing as a twosome and we had a 5-6 person group in front of us and there was 2 foursomes in front of them that sometimes played as 1 eightsome. I understand that its Memorial Day weekend and crowds are up, but a ranger is badly needed on a course this size with numerous challenging holes.

I had a wonderful time playing this course. It is a few miles from where we were staying but I'm glad I still played it. It has a great layout and clubhouse/dining area once your round is over.

This is one of the best courses in the Orlando area. I look forward to going back and playing here again. They had recently punched and sanded their greens but they still rolled better than some other, more expensive courses in the area. The facility, staff, and overall atmosphere is top notch.

This course, like the rest of the Fairfield Glade courses, is always in great shape. They take special care of their courses from tee to green. I also love playing here because they employee numerous marshals who keep the pace up play moving. You could play on a Saturday with a foursome on every hole and you will still finish in under 4 1/2 hours. Wonderful course in a great area.

We played this course early in the morning and it was great. The greens are in great shape and the pace of play was very fast. We played in 3 hours.

We just played 9 holes (the back 9) and didn't tee off until 5. The pace of play was great. The course is doing some much needed repairs on a few holes so it changed up the layout a bit. All in all it a pretty good country course. I would play again if I had a little time to kill and a discounted Hot Deal rate.

This is one of my favorite courses to play in Destin. Its a little expensive so I would suggest trying to use a Hot Deal tee time but he staff, resturant, practice facility, and workers here are all top notch. Two people from our party got caught up in traffic and the started graciously work around it to make sure they got to play the round with us and no one would lose out on a round of golf that had already been paid for. As far as I'm concerned the attention to detail at this course put it just ahead of Kelly Plantation for the best place to play in Destin. **I've not been able to play Burnt Pine or the Raven at Sandestin**
