First time playing ...Our check-in experience was beyond expectations.Very friendly staff .Course was in good shape and provided enough of a challenge but would be Ok for the high handicap player if they played from the more forward tees.Pace of play was great. We finished in just under 4 hours.

Have played this course several times. The layout and scenery are good. Improvements have been made over the past two years .The price is right but don't expect pristine fairways and greens. Have fun, enjoy the views and take in the fresh air. Forget that there is little grass on the fairways, the bunkers have some grass growing in them and the greens are not always weed free.

Played here twice recently. Course has improved over the past two years ...play can be slow especially the first 3/4 holes but overall an enjoyable round of golf.Friendly staff, good prices, and a nice layout.

We found this course on GolfNow...having stopped at Sante SC and golfed the main courses we thought we would try a more "local" course...Holly Hill was built in 1957 by local residents..Now privately owned the course caters to the local 110 members and walk-ins.It is early in the year and a lot of rainfall came the night before we played, which may be why the fairways were uncut. Greens were PoaAnna , well kept,roll true.Other golfers on the course were friendly as were the staff at the pro shop and eating area.Great prices all around.

Check in was a breeze....pro shop staff and starter very accommodating.Tee boxes and parts of fairways lacked grass growth.Greens were excellent but your approach shots had to be accurate as most greens were protected short/long left and right with deep bunkers..Greens rolled nicely but I tended to overread the breaks.

Check on was a breeze and the pro shop staff most welcoming. We booked via golf now and bought a "hot Deal" for $34 bucks for two. We were glad we did not pay any more. The tee boxes are uneven, sparsely grassed as was the fairways and greens.The course was in worse shape than last year at this time. We won't return.

Played this course last year and can say I saw good improvement with the greens and cart paths. Fairways are in need of major TLC. Grass is sparse, ground is hard which leads to many a long roll of the ball.Bunkers are numerous but well kept.The water skiers are a nice diversion ....

Course is in good shape, greens were a little inconsistent regarding their speeds.Once again when we arrived for our tee time there were no power carts available. Seems to happen a lot at this course.Otherwise a good day.

Good value for the price. No water hazards on the course but plenty of sand bunkers. Fairways were generous.Didn't try the club facilities as it was late when we finished our round.

Early spring but the fairways where well kept. Greens seemed really slow and may not have been cut every day. All in all a great course and we will return next year. GPS on carts was really helpful.
