Course is pretty dry and brown, even for this time of year. I found the greens difficult to read, hard to see the breaks. Back 9 has more character. Worth trying with a "hot deal".

Way overcrowded. 2.5 hrs the first time around. 1 hour for 2 holes the second time so we quit. Greens putted ok and almost Jovita fast. A decent 9 holer just too crowded.

Course needs work. Most bunkers terrible, lots of weeds. Greens putt good unless you hit an unrepaired ball mark. Happens a lot. It's a good design if you can overlook the poor condition.

I used a couple codes to get the price down. It's worth playing. Nothing eye-catching just a nice course. A few spots an a few greens not good. Back 9 more character. Had fun, I'll go back.

Felt like British Open conditions. Wind, rain, wet grounds, tall grass in spots. Course was in great shape, a little soggy but no big deal. Pin placement just over the bunker on 17, nasty.

I've never seen Hernando this dry. Fairways are brown, greens ok but for a few spots. Some rain will do wonders. Still playable, no problems in that regard. Go play.

Course is in good shape for this time of year. A couple greens and tee boxes have minor issues. The staff here are fantastic, real nice people. Stay away from Wednesday late morning tee times.

Golf etiquette reminder: when you get 2 holes behind, let groups behind you play through. Over 2 hours to play 7 holes. Then we just skipped the hole and drove around the group. Normal conditions for this time of year. Not much grass, hard ground. A few greens need some TLC. Got a good deal thru Golfnow.

The front 9 is nothing to write home about but playable. The back 9 is the treat, the "quarry" holes are a blast to play. Overall the course is in great shape. Greens were a little slow due to morning rain. A steal at +/_ $20. If you're never been there, GO !

A real nice layout. For some reason players here NEVER repair their ball marks on the greens. Lack of course maintenance doesn't help. It's worth $20 not $40.

Overall, nice. A couple greens on the back 9 are crap. 2 really tight driving holes back there as well. Greens defend par, not real fast but lots of slope. Lots of "shorter" holes. Fun course to play.

Conditions have gone down hill in the last couple of years. Appears the owner, a former PGA tour pro, doesn't care much about it. Lots of bare spots in the fairways, greens are bumpy, a few tee boxes are just dirt. Too bad since it's a great design and a fun layout. I wouldn't pay full fare but a hot deal under $20, give it a try. Keep your hopes in check and you'll have a good time.
