Longwood Golf Club - Post Oak Course
Played On 02/10/2021Was cold and wet
I only played 9 holes it was cold it was wet And it was not a day to play golf. But everybody was very nice at Longwood on a cold wet day. I kept topping the ball and it was cold and wet but there was one 7-iron that was pure as gold with a slight draw that landed on a small green with the purest of ball strikes. I cut my losses and didn't play another nine holes but it was a good experience on a miserable day.
Houston National Golf Club
Played On 07/25/2018Links style and kept in very good condition
Love this links style course and the staff keeps the tee boxes, fairways, and greens in VERY GOOD condition. My only complaint, and I do mean only, is that they should just relent and let any player who has already booked, have a small bucket of warmup balls at no extra charge. Asking a player for “an additional $5 bucks” to get a small bucket going is just cheesy and looks bad. Revenue can come from somewhere else, not in a small warmup bucket. Other than that, HN is a fantastic links style golf experience on a very well maintained and interesting course!
West Fork Golf & Country Club
Played On 07/19/2017Seering heat, West Fork delivers on hospitality
Always enjoy the friendliness found at WestFork. Driving the ball is always a little daunting with the many waste areas separating the tee box from the fairways. What I like best about WestFork is the staff and the good vibes. Nice people, nice friendly attitudes from the staff.
