Good value...

Course is is pretty good condition overall, some dead spots through the fairway but it's April so to be expected but greens were excellent, ran true for the most part. Some greens were slower than normal, some faster. Not sure any were as fast as the practice green however.

Fairways in good shape, rough was the norm, not thick or heavy but enough to change shots.

As far as the bar, food smelled good but I didn't eat... HOWEVER, $8 for a beer & $7 for a crown/ginger is absolutely spectacular in these times. I'd play the course again just for the cheap drinks albeit I generally don't drink but 1 or 2 til the back 9.

The 1 big upside or downside is the wind. Not sure if it's daily in Kingman or on the course like that but it was blowing like we lived in Chicago. I played the 1st 5 holes from the tips but after 5 holes of virtually dead into or cross winds sustained at like 25 & gusting to 40+ I moved back to the regular tees. A par 5 586 yard hole took me nutting a drive, 5 wood/5 wood & was still just short of the hole a few yards - not into the wind would've been driver/5wood/7iron id guess on a normal day or down wind...

Pace of play was kaput too, 5somes & newer players holding up play, didn't seem anyone was playing through but worth the value overall.

Course in solid condition, greens roll faster on the putting range than the actual course so slightly slow but in good conditions for the most part. Faily easy, straight course but trouble can be found not in the fairway. Pace of play horrendous is the only downfall. Worth $22 definitely, but not sure I'd go again taking almost 5hrs to complete 18

Immaculate Greens

Lovely little course in Hesperia. I think there was a cart girl but I never saw her, full service bar however you can hit b4 & at the turn. The only real downsides to course is its gopher city, so I'm sure some balls get lost down holes & mounds the gophers have dug, some dead in the middle of the fairway, they were everywhere. Fairways otherwise in good shape. I would actually like the rough longer after the intermediate cut to help with sight lines. Barely any of the tee shots are straight, most have severe angles or doglegs to approach too so longer rough would help with some of the sight lines & aiming of shots. Greens were absolutely immaculate, sans a few divot marks jerks didn't fix but they ran true & fast, some of the best greens I've been on in the southwest & California.

Good bang for your buck

Course is pretty good shape all around. Some of the greens are beat up, lots of divot marks not fixed, probably needs to be resurfaced on more than a few holes. Putts ran true though, speed was decent. Fairways great, rough thick but playable. The bunkers were implayable however. Basically like trying to hit off gravel so any shot in the bunkers I just moved back & played from the nearest rough. Pace of play was spectacular b/c noone was out & I played with 2 other ladies, 1 relatively new to the game & we still played in unde 4 hours.

Good bang for your buck...

Missed my tee time dealing with work but the pro shop Mgr Mitch I wanna say called me & said I could come whenever I can if I can mak it th same day. Awesome customer service! Course was relatively empty for a perfect Friday weather day, low 90s & minimal wind - however wind is quite sneaky on this course & will knock down a shot or 3 if it gusts right. Course is dried out/dirt in some spots - to be expected in Arizona but greens were in very solid shape, ran true & relatively fast. A couple of the sand traps definitely need to be replaced, sand was virtually unplayable on a few holes & in certain spots in rough/fairway I moved my ball back or left/right to get out of just dirt patches or where they were trying to get more grass to grow again I assume. Not a long course at all, 6500yds from the tips so it's a getable course definitely if you put it in the fairway or right position off the tee. Full summer mode so no on course amenities or cart girl - everything at the pro shop. Definitely would play again for under $40, played the course in under 4hours - 1st time out in 2yrs I was nursing a herniated back last year & couldn't play. Shot 84 out here shaking off the rust.

Incredible shape

Incredible course conditions for the current heat weather Vegas is having. Best greens I have putted on in Vegas so far, pristine condition, above average fast but readable. Some very challenging tee shot positions, a couple long par 3's & par 4's but the course overall is very playable & reachable. Once the wind picks up later into the day, course does become much more challenging but still manageable & playable if you can hit tee shots in the fairway. Definitely will play again anytime I can find a special under $60, unbeatable value for that when the course typically is $125-$200 a round & worth every penny.
