Great conditions and pace of play, under 4 hours even with a slow back 9. Didn't see a beverage cart but friendly and fast service at clubhouse halfway through. Drives were errant so tight fairways swallowed up my golf balls. Good practice facilities, include in green fees.

Tee boxes, fairways, greens all in great shape. A few under repair but marked improvement from November. I learned what Arthur Hill designed greens are like. Tough.

A lot of straight fairways with room for errant shots. Not a lot of sand, there is water but generous enough fairways to avoid that. I was able to play as a single at 8:30 in the morning and finished in 2 hours. What's not to like.

I returned to HH after I heard about the improvements to conditions. I was not disappointed. The new layout made for confusing, currently temporary, golf cart paths but 2 holes with challenging greens have been added, with the original holes 1 and 2 removed. Friendliness ,arshalls around, carts with gps, a great rate, what's not to like.

From practice green to fairways and greens, conditions were the best we've seen at affordable courses. Lots of alligators so enough water to keep one honest but a forgiving course for the most part. Enjoyable round and a good deal through Golfnow.

When do we average golfers get a chance at that. Due to tee box work on one hole, that was the case and i came close to my second eagle ever. We had a laugh on that hole but the rest of the course tested our accuracy. Greens were forgiving, I didn't have to try the sand which was a good thing as it looked a little thin. For an 1153am tee time our pace was great.,

Enough water and bunkers to keep you honest. For a 7:53am tee time, pace of play should not be an issue, but it was. Marshall passed us many times but apparently did not urge the group in front to pick up the pace. A variety of greens,, rolling, raised, sloped etc.,were in decent shape.. fairways were rough but not an issue. Great value with hot deal. A nice course close to Bradenton and I can fill up on gas at Costco after!

50 degrees, sunny,,little to no wind but most golfers stayed home. I arrived 1.5 hours before my noon tee time. Every staff member was almost giddy to see me as few golfers had ventured out to that point. As mentioned earlier, the practice facilities are at the gate but you do have to go to the pro shop, leave your car with the valet, register, get a cart and then drive back to the practice facilities. Not a big deal. I asked and was allowed to tee off early so was by myself on a virtually empty course. 2.5 hour round. Course conditions were very good. I thought Palmer designed courses had large greens. Not here. Small, and undulating which led to too many 3 putts. A fun layout that with more familiarity, or gps on the carts, would have changed my club selection. A great value with the Golfnow rate, even with the drive required from Bradenton. If i lived closer I would golf there many times.

Never seen so many, and they seemed angry. During the first 6 holes I questioned the value for money. Pretty boring layout. Then it turned around, opened up and became a more enjoyable layout. Front 9 tee boxes were in awful shape. Back 9 were beautiful, so it appears to be a work in progress. Greens were good. A tight course so beware.

Reviews had spoken of improved conditions and value for the money. Agreed. Greens were in good shape and challenging. A pretty course winding through the community and wildrrness. Pace of play was really good because temperatures were around 50.

Playing executive courses in the area. Best layout here, followed by peridia best condition, Terra Ceia best pace of play, and village Green last in all categories. Tee boxes were rough, slow play only because of foursome in front of us. Great for iron play practice.

Due to threat of rain and strong winds, no one came out, so pace of play was great. Playing executive courses in the area, nice layout, a little tight amongst houses at times, but then it is a course for iron practice. Some greens in sad shape. So far Peridia is best for layout and conditioins, then Terra Ceia. I hope no others compare to Village Green, it was just sad.

Just trying executive courses in the area. The golfnow reviews were way too complimentary. The course had no appeal, if there was grass on the tee box I had trouble getting a tee in. Pace quite slow, and as others mentioned, this is not really friendly for beginners, lots of ditches. But I enjoyed my round as I was paired with some nice people, and i did work on my iron play, the only positives.

Exactly what I was looking for. All irons. Tee boxes and greens in excellent shape. Great rate through Golfnow.

212pm tee time and we got in a 4 hour round, with room for improvement. Love this course. Conditions, carts with gps, real washrooms, water stations with ice. A class setup.

Every now and then Golfnow comes up with a ridiculously good deal. This was one, hence great value for the money.. pace was 4.5 hours but could have been faster. Didnt see any staff at check in or on the course but that was fine. Conditions were very nice, layout challenging, and greens fast. I like this course.

I suck at chipping so when I can putt from off the green, I do. And the fringe and fairway were in such good shape, I was able to putt ore often. Seriously, fairways very well maintained such that I felt guilty if I didn't repair a divot . Nice layout, with water and traps making it challenging , but wide enough to make it forgiving. Great amenities for preparing for the game, range, putting, chippjng, sand. Restaurant! And a food/beverage cart! As much as i liked it due to the price i will have to consider this a bucket list item.

Played solo front nine, joined a threesome for the back. Greens in great shape, but fast. I drove 1.5 hours for this and would do it again.

Great pace for foursome. Conditions have improved significantly since I last played here a year ago. We enjoyed the course, good variety, demanding enough. Greens in great shape.

A 10am tee time helped, but the 3 nines spread out golfers so we went thru in under 3.5 hours. Tee boxes and greens in good shape, houses far off the fairways, water on few holes. A nice, relaxing round of golf.
