Not Bad..

This course was a little better then I expected. As a New Yorker I come to realize with our city courses it is what it is. Anything bad reviews or comments on our courses is something I learned to understand that this is NYC and that's that big apple tough love and from what it appears they feel the same about the courses . I had a amazing time . Pace was slow but I was able to enjoy my time with the guest I was golfing with. Our conversations made up for the weight time . A few challenging holes but for a advance golfer it should be cake walk. If you looking for great quality definitely invest your money else where but if your looking for NYC this is one of the places to be. The best thing was the BBQ lady on the 9th hole with the grill fired up cooking burgers and dogs .

Fun experience

Beautiful views, friendly staff, and a nice course. I enjoyed myself and found the course to be not as difficult as I assumed. The bunkers are as hard as a rock, they should keep it soft and fresh. They didn't have a cleat cleaner. I get bothered by that, especially when they just cut the grass and it's wet out. Besides that overall this place is great and I will be returning. Usually I would have more to say about a course but I think this is one everybody will enjoy if the the round goes well.

Very Nice but to expensive

This is very beautiful pitch and putt course.. The family owned feel makes it even better. I love that feeling. I can't complain about the place except for the price . It's 18$ for 9 holes and then to play 18 holes it's another 10$ . 28$ to play 18 holes at a pitch and putt is kinda crazy. For that I go to Flushing and pay 20 bucks for 18 holes and 11$ for a pitcher of beer . I would play here all the time if it wasn't for the price. It should be 20$ for 18 holes . It's only a 9 hole course that you would have to replay for 18 anyway . It should at least be 22$ for 18 holes if anything. Besides that it's a nice course that has some awesome obstacles .

Do not waist your time, this place is not worth it.

I heard about this spot from a random person one day. He made it sound like it was excellent so that's exactly what I expected. The view of the surrounding area is beautiful, and if the course was kept in great condition it would be a amazing place to enjoy a little par 3. Everywhere you walk you have to be careful because they have lots of deer and coyote droppings. Flys all over the place due to all the droppings. The flys bite people so you must need bugs spray. The grass is absolutely horrible , and the greens are even worst . You can't even putt decently it's impossible. For 11$ I'm not sure if I'm complaining too much. I usually stick up for a lot of places that get bad reviews. I will never return to this place again. It's a nightmare .

So far so good.

This is the first course I have ever played in NYC besides the pitch and putts. The greens are amazing. I can honestly say these are the best greens I ever played on. The beer girl is beautiful. I like this course a lot especial being that your in Brooklyn. The only thing I didn't like is that our golf cart had empty soil containers. We were not able to fix certain divots .

The Run Down lol

I play this course all the time. I stay the night in flushing at least twice a week, it's literally a 15 minute walk from the apt , and the course is 5 min walk directly to the 7 train. A lot of people complain about this course because of the staff, beer man, or the pace of play. In all honesty this is NYC , that's just the city moral . This place is great for hanging out with your buddies, beginners, experienced players , and family. If your looking for something spectacular or your country club field this is not for you. I'm from NYC to have this in my back yard is amazing. The price sucks, it is very expensive . The best thing tho is the cheap beers and you can play at night being that it's has stadium lights all over. Last tee time is 11pm . So if you have a argument with the wife and need a hour or 2 to yourself at night this is the place to be. I like the trees , the bunkers, all the obstacles. It also has that rugged NYC fowl smell lingering. Maybe the smell is from Citi Field across the street being the Mets play there lol.

My home away from home

Since I am very new to the sport, This is actually the first course I have ever played. Being that I'm a new I hear a lot of experienced golfers say that this course is not easy. I play on this course at least once a week. It gets easier every time I play it. It also has made it very easy for me to play other courses. You will lose a lot of balls if you do not know what you are doing, or if you are unaware of the terrain. Don't kill yourself looking for balls you will not find. Pace of play can be slow. The staff are extremely amazing and cool. If you want to play 18 holes you have to repeat the first 9 being that there is only 9 holes on the course. Hole #1 hit slightly to your left. Hole #2 is a breeze . Hole #3 straight drive, and then you have a nice shot over the edge of some water that can be a challenge. Hole #4 is a fun par 3. Hole #5 Straight drive up the middle and you should be set sail. Hole #6 is very challenging due to the blind spots . Hole #7 is one of my favorites and one of the holes i play best on. Its tricky as well. Hole #8 is what i like to call the MAN SHOT . A nice straight drive over a pond. I have started to gain control of this hole.It can be intimidating. #Hole 9 is another par 3 that is very fun. The pins get changed frequently and the greens bring lots of variety to do so. There is no trees . If you hit off course pray that you don't hit another golfer on another hole lol. Great Course. I have played on several courses since i have caught the fever. This course is good to go.
