After paying the price I paid I didn’t expect it to be the way it was. It was actually well worth it and honestly maybe underpriced. The fairways were good, tee boxes were great, and the greens were the biggest surprise. Minus the speed the we’re actually not bad. I would have paid more to play. I tee off at 10:30am and was done and in my car at 12:45pm. Had to play through a 3-some and a single at the turn. I enjoyed my round at Encanto and would recommend it to other golfers looking for a fun course to play in the current summer conditions.

Course opened up on a few weeks ago from aeration. It needs a few more weeks to Heal and cure. Greens are still bumpy. The outside staff did an excellent job in stocking up carts with waters and showing us where to go. The inside staff could definitely use a little makeover.

For the time of year the course was surprisingly playable. If you have a wide dispersion you may think otherwise but if you play the tee boxes, fairways and greens for the money this course is worth it. I’ve definitely paid a lot more for worse conditions. Staff was friendly at check in and at the end of the round. Carts were cleaned and ready to go. I’ve been playing this course for a while and it’s changed a little but it’s still a fun track.

The staff took care of me and got me paired up with another group. I arrived early and they accommodated me early arrival by letting me join up with a group. They went above and beyond to make it a fun day. I will definitely be returning sooner than later.

I arrived on Easter as a single and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was very enjoyable. They had 4-some after 4 some on the tee sheet and there were no 2 or 3 somes a single could join. I was going to be a single in the middle of a bunch of foursomes. The outside staff made it there mission to pair me up with someone. I had a very enjoyable day with another 2-some that was able to play early with me. For the money this course was in great condition. I would play here again for the price. I will also return cause of the staff making it an effort to make me feel welcome.

I showed up about an hour early. Just randomly asked if I could go early, shop attendant handed me keys to golf cart and said go have some fun. Joined up with 3 collegiate players who played lights out. Great experience at Coldwater GC

I only have 4 of 5 stars due to the greens needing a little extra care. Quite a bumpy for my liking. I was not expecting perfect but I thought they would be a little Better. But other than that this course was well worth the price I paid. It was Monday (Labor Day) so pace of play was a little slow. I booked as a single got paired with another single and the 2-some that was supposed to be with us only wanted to play by themselves. We finished all 18 in 4hrs and 5 mins.

I actually wasn’t sure what the conditions would be. I arrived to the course with an open mind. It was 101* when i arrived. I checked in 30 minutes prior to my tee time and was given the opportunity to warm up or head straight to the first tee. I opted to hit like 5-7 warm up shots then head to the tee. The course has been through a lot lately but was really surprised on the conditions. 17 of 18 greens were in really good shape. There was only 1 that needed a little help and attention. The greens and fairways were nicely manicured. And the tee boxes were not overly grassy. Just the right amount of grass. Overall it was great experience and would highly recommend the course to other players looking for a course in great summer conditions.

I wasn’t sure what to expect arriving at this course. My GPS took me to the wrong entrance at first but no biggie the gate attendant steered to the correct place to go. The shop staff was friendly and quick to check people in. The warm up range is short so “irons only”: Tee boxes were decent. They were not perfectly flat but good enough to find a place to put the peg down and tee off. I didn’t experience any bunkers so no opinion of those. Greens were fair. You get what you pay for. I have definitely paid for more less and these were ok for the price paid. Cart girl was not roaming golf course but was parked in a central location to catch golfers in between holes. All in all it was good first experience at Pueblo El Mirage.

Didn’t expect to play 18 holes in 3 hours but I did it. Only saw 2 other groups that were out enjoying the course. Pace of play was great. Outside service staff made sure my day flowed and I got to play all 18 in a timely manner. Easy check in. Greens were actually quite amazing, fairways and tee boxes were great. I will be back soon.

Drove 45 mins to play this. Upon arriving I noticed that the course was starting to prep for overseed. Course was still playable and it was only the bad spots. The tee boxes were nice, fairways were decent and the greens were still receptive.

The only problem I ran into was the group ahead of us didn’t like us playing behind them. They claimed we hit into them and the par 4’s. We waited til they were off the green to hit our tee shots.

Course was very fun. Provided plenty of challenges but not overly tough.

Pace of play was horrible, conditions are normal for this course. It’s just good enough for the amount i paid. Staff was friendly enough. Was very informative for the questions I asked. Not sure I’ll be back to play here anytime soon.

Staff was friendly and informative. Pace of play was monitored and good. Greens were firm and fast. The typical dry spots here and there on the course. For this time of year. This course is in great shape. Bunkers actually had sand in them. I was in 2 of them. Beverage cart was seen once per 9. Great experience I would recommend and I will for surely be a repeat customer.

Standing on the first tee I immediately knew this was going to be a challenging course. Pete Dye does well with hiding bunkers and fairways with blind tee shots. I do like the challenge they bring. That’s what i wanted when I booked this tee time. I guess my game wasn’t where it should be to play this course. I struggled around the heavily undulated greens. I didn’t experience any bunkers today but they seemed decent. Could use some sand in some spots. Greens were fast and firm. Full wedge shots would take a big bounce then spin/check. Putting was a test with all the slopes. This course i know will bring out the best in any regular. The service staff was helpful and the shop attendant was very informative of where to go and what to do to make it around the golf course. BYO Water. They have removed the water jugs due to COVID 19.
