What in the world has happened to this course?
The greens? My god? Come on now.
Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course
Played On 07/27/2018My favorite course in America
I maybe biased in my reviews because I love Links golf. I have played pebble, Bethpage, Whistling Strights , Bay Hill etc. This experience is down right better. From the moment you drive up, you get a feeling that something magical is taking place.
I can’t believe that some clown wrote that the greens don’t hold. He gave the course 4 Stars? Are you kidding me? You hit your fairways and you can control the spin and distances associated with the greens. The greens are extremely fast and true .
This is my new favorite course in the states. The views alone are worth the 195 price point.
I can’t wait to come back. What a treat.
Woodforest Golf Club - Front Course
Played On 03/05/2018Fantastic Track
I shot a -2 69 from the back tees.
This might be my new favorite course in Texas. Playability is fantastic. It's 7100 yards from the tips. Many holes are risk, reward. Short Par 5's and Long par 4's. Plenty of opportunity to drive the ball 300+ yards on the majority of holes.
I will be back, you need to play this course. It will make you better.

What a course!
The value for the money might be tops in the state of Texas.
Greens are perfect.
The Bridges Golf Club

Greens are awesome.
7600 Yards from the tips. What a challenge. The 650 yard par 5 18th is my favorite hole in North Texas.
Enjoy.
What a Gem.
Golf Club of Houston - Tournament Course
Played On 02/06/2018Best Playability Track In Texas
Was able to shoot an Even Par round on a windy / stormy day in Feb. The conditions are immaculate. Being able to control distance and spin the ball at will is easy when conditions are this good.
Fantastic Day. Paid 50 bucks.
Old Brickyard Golf Course
Played On 07/05/2016Left after 9 holes
My review might be somewhat biased.
I am a competitive golfer and always strive to shoot under par. This is a very easy course to achieve that result. I am 30 years old who routinely drives the ball 300-320 and hits fairly straight. The course plays into my game very well. The elevations are quite interesting and add a fun element to the game. Greens are the best part of this course. They're in Excellent condition.
As I was 2 under going into the first par 5 of the day, I missed my approach shot left of the green on (5)I believe ( roughly 45 ft from the hole) As I walk towards my ball, a guy on the mower comes out of nowhere and chops my ball in half (lol) He didn't know, but still it was quite a shock. all day long I ran into mowers on the front nine. 4 out of the 9 holes I played. Ok, I can deal with that. Here's my problem. The pace of play. It's great if you are 60 and hanging out with your retired buddies and want to play this course. the pace of play is around 15- 20 minutes with no marshal around. I ended my day after 9 holes at Even Par and called it quits.
The Courses at Watters Creek - Traditions Course
Played On 07/01/2016Huh??? holes aren't completed lol
I'm a competitive golfer. I strive to be under par every round I play.
3 of the greens are in fairways.
Just a joke and it should be shut down. great for people that suck because they may find it fun and hilarious.
Used to play the course all the time. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.
Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course
Played On 06/02/2016So much potential wasted by the greens
I am a competitive golfer who strives to be under par every round I play. The course design is fantastic. Great, strategic holes. However, can someone tell me what in the world is going on with the greens???? In DFW this may be the worse course as far as the condition of the greens. You are not rewarded for getting to the green in 2.
For the competitive, it takes the fun out of the game when an 8 foot putt you can sink 10 out of 10 times, breaks right for no reason. It's just comical.
Sand happens to be on most of the greens and you are putting of sand that is on the green.
I will continue to play this course because it is in great shape and is close to the airport and mid cities. Just don't expect to be under par.
