LIke the course a lot. Very slow playing. Booked late in the day. Members ahead , quit after 9 holes, other wise would have taken 4.5 hours to play and would not have finished last few holes. My thought would be. Members
should be aware that late in the day paying customers want to finish the round and let rented carts play through if they are not playing 18 holes.

Years a go was a real nice layout, very little housing. Nothing but golf course. More housing but layout still very nice. Now fairways patchy and greens similar.

great course. matured well over last 30 plus years, tree lined fairways, challenging greens.great condition. pace of play under 4 hours. Clubhouse excellent, with enclosed balcony overlooking 18th green..Food very good as well.
Cove Cay Golf Club

Played a couple of months ago, greens good, fairways poor. Now greens are patchy and very rough. Not a good green on the course. Any other course has better greens. Played with a first timer on the course, he said he would not come back. Me too.
Our resident snowbirds love our course and think it's in great shape considering it's winter in Florida. Yes, the greens are rough here and there and we're working on it! Do come back next year and have a safe journey home.
Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club - North Course

Very enjoyable layout. In decent shape. Lots of bunkers. Pace was very slow, looked like a family two groups ahead, no carts on fairways on some holes did not help pace. First course where we never saw a ball washer on whole course..........can't figure that one out.
Golf Channel AmTour event for 5:25.That is pretty fast for that bunch.No rules on pace.

Greens bumpy...growing in. Played Fox and Otter.Otter better of the two. Would play again.

Friendly greeting at bag drop. Arrived early, not busy got on right away as 2 some. Greens nice, fairways wet in spots from overnite rain. Other wise they were not great from the dry spell over the last few months.. Just bump the ball to find a spot ,all is good. Would take friends there.
The Groves Golf Course

Enjoyed short course with undulating greens. Don't be fooled by lack of long holes. A good test, especially for the putter. Some pretty holes. Saw a monster gator on 18th. Starters were pleasant. Bag drop person not so much.
