For a public course the state is doing a great job. Fairways were lush and greens rolled true. Played 3 times this weekend and pace was great, under 4 hours each time.

Booked online through golf now for a good price. The course has a great layout and design but the conditions of the tees and fairways are in bad shape. The crab grass has taken over and this makes a lot of shots difficult from the middle of the fairway. The range balls will no longer be included in price of play and they are leaving Golfnow, which we were told by the clubhouse. Hopefully they can get the conditions fixed. Always loved playing this course but I will look at others first now.

Cold and windy Saturday afternoon. First time playing the course. Had small lunch at clubhouse (limited selections) but prepared hot and fresh. The gentleman tending the bar (used for golfer check in and pro shop and bar) was very nice and had some great intel on the course. He did let us know of some hidden hazards and where to miss on certain holes (wish I would have been able to heed the warnings). Fairways and greens in typical conditions for this time of year. Greens rolled true and a little on the fast side. Can't wait to come back in growing season. Bring bug spray. If you get the chance make the drive and play this course, you will love it.

Great course and layout. Course conditions good, greens a little sow. Tried getting food at turn (couple of BLTs). Called order in after 7th hole and still had to wait 10 minutes when we made the turn, no personality from bar staff. Very slow service, complaints from the guys at the bar about slow service. Only complaint I had.

Have played this course multiple times and this last one was not up to par. The course is under some kind of repair and drainage is not good. The workers on the course during the rounds could care less about the golfers playing the course. Mowers driving across the tee boxes and greens while you are taking your shots. No courtesy at all. The amount of walkers and joggers on the course and cart path is unreal. No Marshall patrolling course and people just driving around on carts on their phones with no clue that golf is taking place. For the price you pay you can find another course to play that is much more golfer friendly.

Course is in great condition. Some Tee boxes moved up to overseed and repair normal tees which made for some driveable par 4's. Only complaint was one group slowing the whole course, no marshall to monitor the course.

Yes it was hot but the course is in great shape. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Middle of the day and it seemed that we had the course to ourselves.

Beautiful day, friendly staff, greens in good shape, plenty of grass in fairways. Pace of play was great, finished 18 in @ 3 hours.

Great layout. Narrow fairways on a few holes and some challenging par 3's. Wind came into play on each hole especially the ones Oceanside. Had a geat time for a nice price.

Overall the course was in ok shape. The tee boxes need help and some of the greens need attention. The cart girl will not win any personality contests and never came around again and it was only 2:30. If I had to pay full price I would not go.

Greens in excellent shape. Fairway sparse in some areas, dry conditions though. Pace of play was a little slow but they have the west course shutdown for maintenance. No chipping or putting greens, also closed for maintenance. Water in the coolers had bad taste, bring your own. Did see the cart girl about 3 times during the round. Overall good course and good deal for golf, range balls and lunch.

Beautiful day for golf. Pace of play was great and the course was in good shape. Front nine and back nine are very different which provides a nice challenge. Shot makers course for the back. Would play again.

The course was in great shape for a winter round. The greens were excellent and true. They are removing some of the sawgrass from the fairway (saw some complaints in earlier reviews) which makes it a more forgiving course. Still tough, you need to hit where you aim. For the price and condition of this course, we had a great time and will be back again.
