Had 2 tee times at 1:45 had to stop playing during 2nd stoppage after completing only 4 holes. First stoppage was 15 minutes second stoppage was 1 hour with rain and lightning continuing as we left the course. Course had standing water on fairways and greens. Course would not issue a rain check because we booked through Golf Now. Sent note to Golf Now a message to Customer Service, there response was I contacted the wrong department and I needed to go through Live Chat. Entered info on Live Chat and have been waiting for an agent for 30 minutes. Clearly Golf Now is not responsive and it’s rain guarantee is false.

This is the nicest course I’ve played in Florida. It is well run, a great layout. Fun fast greens and in awesome shape. You will fall in love with this course when you play it.
Blackledge Country Club - Gilead Highlands

The Gilead front 9 greens were still healing from aeration. But the rest of the course was in good shape. Had to wait 10 minutes while daily maintenance was done on one of the holes. With the fall colors the course was a picture. It was fun to play a New England course in the Fall again. The food in the restaurant was subpar.

Beautiful course great vistas. Bunkers were in bad shape due to heavy rains. The rest of the course was great, greens very fast but true. Usual Fall issues with leaves making finding/putting golf balls difficult. Even with the issues the course was extremely interesting and plays long due to many uphill holes. Would play again in a minute.

Typical Palmer layout lots of water. Halfway house closed, is not good. Fun course.
