South/North at Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course
Played On 10/08/2022So sad !
The greens are in great shape. Getting there is another story. Fairways and tee boxes are horrendous!! This course has great potential but the city is missing a great opportunity to make it a financial asset. Gas powered golf carts. Great idea… NOT !

The fairways are in excellent shape. The greens were areated 2 weeks ago. We played automatic 2 putt once on the green. The greens are coming back quickly and they have given a discount due to the greens condition. You won't be disappointed.

This review is to let the public know that they will be aerating the greens May 8th to 11th 2018. The course will be closed. I do highly recommend this course once the greens make their way back from grooming.

Played the course in early March, the course was in poor condition. Albeit the winter was tough. Greens were very frost damaged and rough. I gave the course a second chance in late April. Green were terrible ! I asked the pro shop if the course has improved since March and his response was, "the course is in good shape". I stopped at the putting green and it was all damaged and rough. The course was in terrible shape ! No point of having descent fairways if the greens are no good when you get there. I wouldn't recommend this course at this time.

Course is in great shape. Fairways are greening up . Greens are groomed and fairly quick. Course isn't overly challenging, but is a course worth playing. Driving range, golf cart and practice green are included in price.

The winter took its toll on the fairways, but they're coming back. The greens are in great shape.the play is steady. Overall the best course in the area.

The course is on its way back to LOUSY! The greens on there way back to Bad.Off the edge of the fairways are like hitting out of a trap. The price is absolutely ridiculous for this course!!I can't say enough bad things about this place.Sad part...it doesn't need to be.

Played On 12/5/2012well worth a trip to play!
Course is in good shape. It's going dormant now but is very playable.Greens are in good shape and roll true. The layout is challenging to most levels of golfers but not discouraging to a lesser golfer.(i.E. 15-20 handicap)I recommend you try it!
Laurel Island Links
Played On 9/27/2012the greens are looking good!
I'm happy to say the course is being brought back from, what appeared to be,no return.I played on 09/27 and the greens were in good shape.Heading towards real good shape.
The course is enjoyable for all skill levels.(I am a low 80's golfer)
If they continue to maintain the course with the dedication they appear to have,it will be a great course to play!!
We noticed you played in March but posted this in late April. We've been in the best shape of any course in the area since mid April and have only gotten better. Don't be shy about a return trip.
