Fairfax Golf Club
Played On 07/10/2014Course in great shape while they make upgrades
The driving range is currently closed as they make redesign of #18 and practice facilities. Hopefully they upgrade the clubhouse as it has seen better days. Overall, the golf course is in great shape. Lots a trees and decisions whether to hit long off the tee or play smart. Greens are rolling true and the staff is friendly. Hopefully a face lift is coming for the rest of the facilities.
Coffee Creek Golf Club
Played On 07/03/2014Fun shorter course but greens are in bad shape
Ive played this course numerous times including late last year before winter set in. The greens back then were in great shape. The rough winter must've damaged them. Usually during the heat of summer, these are some of the best greens around Edmond/OKC. Hopefully, they will be back soon. The golf course looks great and the fairways are nice. The staff is very friendly and they accommodate singles. Fun short course worth playing
West at Oak Tree Country Club
Played On 06/29/2014Nice private course. Fast greens
Ive played the East course numerous times. Fun and challenging. You can tell Pete Dye designed it to make golfers think about their tee shots. Course and greens are both in excellent condition. Staff was very friendly and beverage cart met us several times on back and front nines. They are doing a lot of work on the clubhouse and I look forward to seeing the finished product. I would highly recommend this place if you get a chance to play.
River Oaks Golf Club
Played On 06/10/2014A great, hidden gem of a course
I was a member out here for several years and recently went back to play the course. It is in great shape. During my membership, the course was going through some upgrades (facilities, greens, collars) and they really paid off. It looks great. I had never heard of this course until 5-6 years ago. A great, fair course with some challenging holes. The greens are rolling fast and the upgraded clubhouse looks wonderful. The staff is very friendly and the beverage cart is very fast. Highly recommend checking this hidden gem out.
MayorMike,
I appreciate your nice comments. Our staff at River Oaks has worked hard over the last 14 years to make improvement every year. It is great when someone notices the work
Thanks Again.

KickingBird Golf Club
Played On 05/23/2014Open course in great shape
Kickingbird is fairly open and easy to get away with wayward tee shots. The greens are some of the best in the Edmond/OKC area. The staff is friendly and one of the better burgers at a golf course.
West at Oak Tree Country Club
Played On 04/13/2014Preferred over Oak Tree East
I actually prefer the West course over the East. Its a little easier with some bailout areas for wayward tee shots. The course and greens are in great shape. The clubhouse is getting upgraded and still under construction but very nice facilities. I cant wait to see the finished product.
Rose Creek Golf Club
Played On 03/21/2014Links style course that went fully private
Rose Creek is a love or hate course. I highly recommend not playing on a windy day as it will truly show you how it would feel to play in England/Scotland. It is a beautiful links style course with some challenging holes. The greens are smooth and roll true. The course drains tremendously well after rain. The facilities are top notch with the upgraded clubhouse and bar. I recommend this course as a change of pace to traditional layouts. But again, be careful when its windy.
Oak Tree National Golf Club
Played On 08/25/2013One of the best
The course, greens, facilities, and staff are tremendous as one would imagine. This course recently hosted the Sr US Open. The course is very challenging with some fairways more welcoming than others. The greens are somewhat small and have some big undulations. A must play if you ever get the chance to get out there.
Mayor Mike,
Thank you for your nice comments about our staff and our course.
As you are aware our greens got hit really bad this winter and we are working diligently to repair them. They have come along way since early June and should be in good shape again soon.
