This is a short executive course. No excuse for round taking 4+ hours…except management that doesn’t give a rip about customers. We skipped last 4 holes…3 groups waiting to hit on tee box on number 15!!!

Hadn’t played this course in over 15 years. It had gone downhill to the point that I thought the owners (Tan-Tar-A Resort) intended to kill it for more housing. New owners (Margaritaville Resort) have put lots of $$$ into revitalization; it’s now in great shape, and is a really fun routing!

This course is a joy! Excellent shape, given high heat if this summer. Played the two Four Seasons courses and Club at Porto Cima on previous 3 days; Indian Rock was in better condition! At $54 including cart, far and away the best deal.

8th or 9th time playing the course in as many years. What used to be one of our favorite courses in the Coachella Valley is nowhere near as much fun as it used to be. Construction all around as new owner builds (slowly) hotel, homes and condos. Wildlife fenced out. Pro shop in trailer. Hard to get to restaurant/bar. Greens in poor condition. Holes reconfigured in anticipation of new buildings that could be years away. Sad to see.

Older course winds through condos/houses. Parallel holes mean lots of balls flying at you! Greens were deceptively fast and hard. Group behind us hit into us x3, despite us waiting on every shot. Not a complete waste, but there are much better options in the Calley.

True Par 3; holes vary from 82 to 171 yards, averaging around 120. Water in play on most. Best feature was greens: very well maintained, pretty quick, testing undulations; few straight putts! Our first day playing out of the Midwest “deep freeze”: perfect way to recall short game and putting! Walking only, but push carts available. 18 hole senior rate with carts was $32.

This 3 nine complex has 27 very different holes. Played all 3 combinations while in area. Not sure which was favorite! Great pro shop; staff very welcoming. Pace of play excellent for resort course (average right at 4 hours). Plays well for all handicaps, ladies included.

Played twice in the last 2 weeks. The layout keeps your interest: no two holes look alike. Staff is very welcoming. Fairways in great shape; greens are a little patchwork, but run true. Lots of wildlife (javelinas and deer). Well worth the drive from Green Valley.
